“My family and I have been coming here for a while. The food is always delicious. One thing we always notice is Talia (hope it’s spelt correctly), is always busy. If she’s not happily serving food to customers, she’s clearing and cleaning tables. Tonight it was only her doing this. And other nights it’s her and two mature ladies. I hope Talia gets noticed by management for her great work ethic. She’s an asset to you.”

“We had a recent 3 night stay and everything was spick and span. The superior queen room was very spacious. There is a little traffic noise evident in front rooms as the motel is on McKillop St. Prices were very affordable.”

“You can sit up the top and overlook the main Street and down to the beach. The Steak Surf and turf was amazing washed down with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon recommend by the team. It took a while to get the food to the table but it was so worth the wait. “What a great place for a short stay on the Bellarine. We upgraded our cabin to one of the newer ones and it was perfect. 95% everything brand new (kitchen table and chairs looked out of place and tired but absolutely functional of course) the holiday park itself has everything you could want if you just wanted to chill for a day - we spent loads of time in the games room on the table tennis and pool table. The pool looked inviting even in this chilly weather. All staff were lovely and accommodating. The location is great, just a short distance from town and the beach and a short drive over the bridge to Barwon Heads. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!”

The surroundings may have changed but this quality chicken shop hasn’t missed a beat in all these years. And it’s all thanks to the lovely hard working owners. “Had the their signature burger and it was awesome! Have tried lots of places in Melbourne and nothing has even come close to the best burger I ever had which was the Queenstown furg burger but this was def by far the second best, best I have had in Melbourne anyway. Also great vibe.”
