"What a great find. Host was so obliging even opening a little earlier as we had an appointment. Service from the owner was very friendly and food was an amazing. Had a very generous serve of lovely piece of barramundi, large prawns and oysters at a VERY reasonable price. No sides were required. Desserts were great too. Zebra decorations very tastefully done. Thank you for a lovely meal."
"Pretty disappointing. If you are going to charge $160 for a seafood platter you would want it to be fantastic. Oysters were very very odd, fish tasted frozen and the feta smelt off. The calamari as actually fantastic so that was a plus. Service was average. We had better fish n chips directly across the road for quarter of the price.Great menu but overall the produce was the biggest letdown . I would not recommend."
"Walking in, the empty venue on a public holiday in a coastal town should have been a red flag! We were rudely addressed when we asked for a drinks menu to sit out on the balcony because "we don't really do that; we operate as a restaurant". Given we were the only people (group of 4 adults) there, we were a little shocked at her abruptness. Then when we sat outside in the sun, she snapped at us, saying there's no smoking up here (no-one smokes so there was no risk there). We felt like an inconvenience, so we left. As we were leaving, she proceeded to recommend going to a place down the street. We were gobsmacked by the way we were spoken to. I would never go back there again."
"You can sit up the top and overlook the main Street and down to the beach. The Steak Surf and turf was amazing washed down with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon recommend by the team. It took a while to get the food to the table but it was so worth the wait. I will definitely be visiting this place for lunch again next time we are in Ocean Grove and would recommend this place to anyone."
