“Excellent dinner experience. We ordered the set dinner Take No Hana. The entrees were slightly bland, however all the following dishes were amazing. The miso salmon was very well balanced and the sauce complemented the fish very well. The short ribs were cooked well, with a smokey flavour. The dessert we had was a chocolate moose with seasame ice cream which was an excellent end to the meal. The service was good, however due to the busy restaurant the edamame we ordered never came.”

“Well, we nearly didn’t even go. Couldn’t book online, so we called and they “fit us in”. I guess with Teppanyaki, there needs to be a group to make it more enjoyable. Regardless, the staff on arrival were awesome and we were ushered to a group of teppanyaki tables, most of them in full swing. We ordered drinks and one of the feasts on the menu. It was incredible. Our chef who had just finished at another table was sensitive to our conversation and really just excellent so far as reading the room. We were here for business and so he wasn’t throwing food at us, or being loud and carrying on which is a pretty usual experience etc… he shifted to tell us about the food and gave us insights on why he cooked the way he did. And even a little personal background on himself. All in all it was an amazing experience. Great food, excellent champagne accompaniment, and great company. Highly recommended.”

Ordered nori crunch, jamon on toast, eel hitsumabushi, wagyu foie gras rice, matcha creme brulee and yuzu sorbet Overall, recommend this restaurant! Would love to come back for omakase next time :)”

“A spectacular dining experience. Our second time at Koko. The cuisine is exceptional. Bar service times need improving, but only a minor tweak at it will be a perfect dining experience. We will be back.”

“We went to Nobu at Crown Melbourne for dinner recently to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday. We didn't have a booking but we went earlier, before 5 pm, and managed to get a table for 6 with a beautiful view of the Yarra river. The sun was still warm so it was nice to feel the heat flowing into the restaurant. For the 2 hours dinner we were there the service was exceptional. Gunawan, who was our waiter provided us with superb service ensuring that our every need is met. Nobu is fortunate to have an employee like him. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The wagyu tacos, creamy baby tiger prawns, tempura prawns, sushi rolls and assorted cups of sashimi, crispy soft shell crabs, crispy rice with tuna, grilled chicken wings and creamy spicy crabs were all really yummy. And because it was a birthday dinner, we also ordered some chocolates and ice cream, which were beautifully decorated wih a candle, and to top it off, we were given complimentary champagne for everyone and a box of chocolates. It was definitely an enjoyable dinner and evening at this premium restaurant. We were definitely be back for another celebration.”
