Fondata 1872
“We held our wedding here on Friday 14th April 2023 with around 90 guests attending. The day could not have been more perfect.... even the weather was spot on. Rebecca Clark (Event Manager) was superb. Fondata were able to offer a customised menu, customised event schedule and the food and service was outstanding. We had so many compliments from our guests on the delicious & plentiful food and the presentation of wedding venue. Thank you to Fondata for a truly memorable day that was flawless from beginning to end. Michael & Mehgan - Mr & Mrs Russell ❤️”

“Just discovered this local gem. You guys will never know how grateful we are to have somewhere decent to get fish and chips. Everything is outstanding. Thank you for your hard work and for cooking for us all. Ps Thanks for the kids fish option. It is just right for our toddler and makes life that bit easier!”
Hastings Charcoal Chickens
“When I first looked at the prices, I was pleasantly surprised to see how low they were. Service was great and I had my food in a matter of minutes. The food was fresh, hot and very filling, I would definitely recommend anyone to stop here and have lunch”
Cafe Z
“Not only was the coffee fantastic (no, seriously, BEST coffee I've had in a long time) front of house staff were pretty damn awesome too. So good to engage with the owner who was obviously passionate (and rightly so) about their coffee and other scrumptious fare on offer. Can't wait to return soon for a breakfast! If it's as good as their coffee, I'm in for a treat!”
Food for All Seasons
“There are many restaurants and cafes in Warrandyte and having returned to this one after many years, I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. Located on the east side of the shopping area, set back from the road, FFAS has an extensive menu that frankly, I didn’t know what to choose because it all looked so great. In the end I had a chicken Caesar salad and my daughter had a chunky beef pie with salad and wedges. The portion sizes were fabulous and extremely generous. Taste - excellent. And a note that the side salad wasn’t just lettuce and a slice of cucumber - it had beetroot, tomato, carrot and mushroom. You don’t see that every day. What stood out for me though was the staff and their interaction with customers. Genuine. Thoughtful. Efficient. Good old fashioned customer service. You can dine indoors or out under the large brollies - either is nice. We will return. Notes: wheelchair friendly (there was actually a diner in a wheelchair so I know it’s accessibility), toilets available but not wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking it the front or across the road on the river side.”
Little Bad Wolf
“I've visited Little Bad Wolf twice now, first with my partner and second time we brought my brother and his fiancee along. Both times have been absolutely amazing! Their food is incredibly delicious. Really great chips and the meats are cooked well with nice flavours. First time my partner and I shared a plate and it was a really decent serving size - managed to feed us both on a budget (3rd pic). It's such a small detail but they serve their pita warm and it just makes all the difference. Second time we got the family grill between 4 people (1st photo) - wow! We tried different meats we've never had before and nothing was disappointing. Also, who knew a garden salad could taste so good? We also really enjoyed their dip selection. Not only do they have a wide range but also some unique ones - I really like the basil, chili & feta and the spinach & cashew dips. We were also invited to try their new desserts coming out, Loukoumades. Unfortunately I only remembered to snap a pic half way through (2nd photo) but they were DELICIOUS! Crowd favourite was the golden gaytime. They were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all, I was really pleasantly surprised. Super dangerous for my wallet and tummy that they're coming to the menu!!! Truly a hidden local gem with delicious food that you know is made with love. Well worth the money, fairly priced and fantastic service. Overall, we've loved this place so far and can't wait to come back.”

“A real hidden gem. Excellent atmosphere, great drinks and food menu. The corn on the cob entree was superb and the chimichangas delicious and a generous serve. Copper Pot
“Dined here a couple of weeks ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Booked about a month in advance online. This place is such a delight. We had great service, the food was impeccable and the paired wines were amazing. We went with the set menu and sat back and enjoyed ourselves, not having to decide from such an extensive menu. The highlight for me was the duck as it was so tender and juicy. Lovely atmosphere. Parking is available on the street but can be a bit tricky as there is not much around.”

Bergerac at Tolarno
“An exceptional night out was had at this wonderful restaurant. The staff were welcoming and a delight to chat with, and the french food was incredible. We ordered the french onion soup, the escargot, the crab ravioli and the steak eye fillet. All cooked to perfection. We then ordered a Bombe Alaska which was presented with much fanfare. The lovely birthday candle presented on the creme caramel was also a highlight of the evening. It showed just how thoughtful the staff were to make the evening even more memorable. We will definitely return.”

“Amazing food! Would recommend trying if you’re considering it. We got the set menu at the back function room. There was a mix of individual pieces and sharing plates but the portions were generous and there was more than enough food for our party. Everything we ate was tasty and I loved the Malaysian influences.”
