“Lovely restaurant with a great selection of European wines. The ambience in here is so romantic. We were a group of 6 and got the chefs menu. Entrees were all delicious. Our favourite were the mushroom skewers! The sourdough bread was super soft and fluffy (also interesting round shape from being baked in a paella pan). Desserts also blew us away (the grapefruit sorbet was chefs kiss). Service was lovely! Would definitely come back”

Whether it's been a table of 3 or a table of 12 this team have knocked it out the park. The value for money is up there with the best in Melbourne. “Went here for my birthday after googling for a place to go, saw the good reviews, and booked, definitely a good choice, made the night. The young French guy, can’t remember his name, but he’s from Lille and here two months, was the perfect host, had a lovely chat with him. The ambience is perfect, candlelit, relaxed, and though the place was almost full, the noise level was low. The food was perfect. We had the scallops and pasta truffle for starters, delicious. For mains we both had the Beef Borginon , cooked to perfection on a bed of mash, carrots. Creme Brûlée and a cheese Platter to finish us off. Will be going back to try more on their menu for sure, can highly recommend a visit.”

“It was our first French dinning. Very friendly staffs. We left a note said that it is our first wedding anniversary to our booking. They even organised a special table for us, what a surprise! Foods were amazing too. Thank you for the romantic experience. It was very special to us!”

“This is such a hidden gem! I was not expecting the vibes to be this perfect - the restaurant is newly renovated, with a gorgeous bar set up, a cosy shisha lounge and a more refined dinner area. We had the bottomless which was $59 and for this quality of drinks and food, I definitely am going back. The drinks not only looked amazing but tasted sooo good - some of the easiest and most delicious cocktails I've had (a bit dangerous haha). The parma was so flavoursome and very tender but the pumpkin risotto was so good! Really hearty, creamy and the pieces of pumpkin and feta made it a perfect combination.”

“Had a craving for some Malaysian cuisine. We ordered the entré special, hainanese chicken, curry laksa and ice kacang. All of it was marvellous and we'll be back as soon as we can. It was worth the travel across melbourne to get here and enjoy this restaurant. Check it out super tasty. And very reasonably priced.”

“Where to start- what a divine space. Poodle exceeded all expectations of myself and my partner, the food was lovely, the cocktails sensational but what really stood out was the service. The staff from the minute you walk in are so bright and lovely. It’s a wonderful warm space that feels inclusive and welcoming to all patrons. We can’t thank the staff enough for elevating an already spectacular space. Hands down the best restaurant we’ve visited in Melbourne in a while, and we will absolutely be back.”
