The Parsons Reserve is a significant property with Destruction Brook running through it, leading to Slocum’s River. A vernal pool provides habitat for various species, including wild turkeys, salamanders, and rare plants. The Reserve also features a beautiful beech grove, mature rhododendrons, and hundreds of daffodils that bloom every spring. The property is home to deer that can be seen wandering the paths.
