This small park serves as the trailhead to three trails on the south side of the Housatonic River, accessible by crossing the Goodrich Memorial footbridge. The park's history dates back to 1894 when it was sold to Laurel Hill for $50 by Mary Goodrich and others. The park is also home to the remnants of an old trolley line that ran from 1902 to 1930, with the trolley bridge stone abutments still visible today. Visitors can explore the park's beautiful surroundings, including a crescent of land at the Park Street cul-de-sac, bordered by Laurel Hill and the Housatonic River. Parking is available at the cul-de-sac, making it easy to access this historic and picturesque park.
