The park features a playground, a 9-hole disc golf course, nature trails, a swimming beach, and athletic fields, all set in a wooded environment. Managed by the Rockland Youth Commission, the park also includes a small swimming pond with a sandy beach for Rockland residents only, complete with lifeguards during specified hours. The park is named after Major General George L. Hartsuff, and has historical significance dating back to the days of the Grand Army of the Republic.
