Gunpowder Falls State Park Hammerman Area is a popular day-use park located in Middle River, Maryland. The park features a 1,500-foot beach and swimming area on the picturesque Gunpowder River, making it the perfect spot for water activities and relaxation. In addition to the beach, visitors can enjoy food concessions, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, canoe and kayak rentals, fishing, and short hiking trails. The park also offers an archery range for target practice, with eight outdoor targets ranging from 10 to 60 yards.
