Avondale Apartments

"I have been here for a little over 6 months, please don't be fooled by the nice layout walk into the building. My apartment wasn't completed upon my move in day. There's no cold water in the bathroom nor kitchen and YOU WILL have to wash/prepare food in extremely hot water. Thankfully I don't have a child to bath. There are roaches in the washers/dryers and trash room on the second floor. There's a flood every other week. The management office is very rude. Lack of hospitality and organization. If you injure your self on their property don't even think about receiving a call from ANYONE. If they have a problem with you, they wont address it/you. They'll (Barbara & Crystal) just mumble as you walk pass... saying things like "Is that her" "Mmhmm" Please save the response. Everyone in that office knows I can see through the perfunctory kindness/hospitality. -E"

"I have been a long-term residence at the Avondale community apartment complex. the management staff is very accommodating and very professional. We have a new maintenance team which is absolutely wonderful. I've recently had my carpet replaced throughout the entire apartment. It looks like a new apartment. All I can tell you is I have thoroughly enjoyed living at the Avondale. Any maintenance requests that I have put in have been addressed immediately. The staff is wonderful. Just come and see for yourself. Thank you"

"I have been here for two months and I regret the move already. My apartment wasn't completed upon my move in day. There's no cold water in the bathroom so you brush your teeth with hot water and your showers are scorching. In my "upgraded" unit my appliances have needed multiple repairs. There seems to be a lot of systemic issues at this building. It's either a lack of effort or a lack of resources. Maybe both. I hate that I already have to consider moving next year. Read the rest of the reviews and consider a different home in Laurel."

"The staff at Avondale are absolutely AMAZING!!! Stephanie, Crystal, and Barbara are the reason I wanted to live at Avondale. On my tour of Avondale Stephanie was very patient with me and made sure she found the apartment that was perfect for me. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything in my apartment ready for my move. The whole process of moving was very smooth. I love the hotel style of Avondale. The staff really cares about the residents. They have EXCELLENT customer service!!! The staff knows my name and are very accommodating. Also I love the fact that when I get packages delivered it is a room where they store it to make sure our packages are safe. Mr. Clarence is absolutely AMAZING!!! He is extremely helpful when I get my packages. He even goes out his way to assist me with my packages on the elevator. I am so glad I moved to Avondale I feel so welcomed!! Every single time I go in the lobby the staff are always speaking to me and making sure I am good. The maintenance team is AWESOME!! Shout out to Solomon for helping me out when I needed something fixed. They make sure our apartments are good. I just want to say thank you so much Stephanie, Crystal, Barbara, Mr. Clarence, and the whole maintenance team for all you do and making my living experience at Avondale AWESOME!!!!!! The whole vibe at Avondale is great!"
