Riversdale House Museum
Riversdale House Museum, located at 4811 Riverdale Road in Riverdale Park, Maryland, is a historic 19th-century Maryland plantation site that offers over 200 years of diverse stories to tell. This National Historic Landmark provides insight into the lives of enslaved individuals, such as Adam Francis Plummer, as well as the Stier and Calvert families. Visitors are invited to explore the historic structures, gardens, and grounds through a one-hour guided tour. The Riversdale Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supports the preservation and presentation of the museum in cooperation with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
