Comfort Inn & Suites LaVale - Cumberland

"Came here out on a leisure trip. Very impressed with this hotel. Check in was quick and they were very friendly, room was very nice and clean. Beds were very clean as well. Breakfast was good, and the woman tending to the food are was very attentive and polite. Got snowed in during the one day of our stay, and went swimming. Pool and hot tub was nice and clean. The hotel was being renovated at the time of writing this review and seems to be making some very nice improvements."

"I booked a suite with 2 queen beds + pull out couch. The front desk staff was very nice at check-in. Extremely professional and helpful. Room is a good size for a family of 4. Smells clean but did find that the toilet was cleaned properly and there was mold on the shower curtain. The carpet was a little dingy. Most hotels now have LVP so you don't have to deal with that problem. This would be something worth adding to your property's 5 year plan/upgrades. The breakfast was good. Reply to company: Yes, this is the correct property. The entire room is not LVP. Only the entry/bathroom. The sleeping area is carpet. It's like you started the installation, then stopped."

"No bed bugs or any bugs of any kind. Definitely a prerequisite but unfortunately needs to be discussed. Breakfast was fair enough, oatmeal, eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy, cereal and bagels too and my wife really enjoyed the home made do-it-yourself waffles. Pool and hot tub was clean, all and all zero complaints and had a go"

"We were VERY pleased with our stay, because of work, we travel a lot, when we get to our room, we always wipe it down with Clorox wipes, everything was so clean, the beds were comfortable, I usually always wake up around 4:30 am and while sleeping in this bed I slept in till 7:30 , and it smells clean even though it's pet friendly. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was awesome, you have a full meal. Thank you comfort inn"

"I stayed for two nights visiting the area. This hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful location with beautiful views from just the parking lot. Michelle & Fred were awesome to interact with. I didn’t interact with Brandon much, but I did notice hanging out in the lobby that he went above & beyond for guests. There was always fresh coffee, which saved me having to keep going out for some. They also have a pool & hot tub. I found the price for two nights extremely reasonable just under $200! The room was perfect for what I needed. There’s plenty of restaurants nearby. The highway is only a stone throw away. I will definitely stay here again when back in the area."
