"I had a very quick stay in Snug Harbor and was a tiny bit disappointed in the condition of the room specially the bathroom. Edges of the wooden vanity were dusty, paint chipping from walls and large cracks in corners of walls. I saw about 5 lady bugs in the whole room and 1 stink bug. Bed was pretty comfortable but walls were pretty thin so I could hear the people next door. Be aware that the Inn has a bar and live music downstairs on certain nights but music is promptly cut off at 10 pm but until then the music is pretty loud. Thankful for the $10 voucher for coffee and breakfast at a nearby cafe. The area the inn is in is so quaint and charming. Overall, I found the inn to be a little pricey for the condition the room was in."

"We enjoyed the upper bay suite on the third floor. It was clean and roomy. I forgot my hairdryer and was happy to find one in the closet. We loved walking around the historic town and enjoyed dinner, breakfast and shopping all on the same block. We would recommend this to any couple needing to get away from the business of life."

"Loved the B&B! Location is direct in the heart of Chesapeake City, stone throw from water and all the main restaurants/shops. Lovely old house vibe, and yet was tastefully decorated. There is a Rum Lounge downstairs, with a bar and serving small plates. There also was an acoustic guitar player who created a great ambiance. The owner and bartender were both really friendly and helpful. There were also cakes which were really good...I had a piece of a "Dark and Stormy" cake that tasted as great as it was unique. We had the top floor, which was the Upper Bay Suite. It had tons of room, with a mini kitchen, a living area, bedroom with King bed, bathroom, and best of all, a balcony overlooking the water. We spent hours on the balcony! Earlier that day we rode our bikes 15 miles on the canal trail, right across the canal from us (5 minutes by car). Dinner was really good; we ate at the Baynard House (after a fiasco with our dinner reservations at Chesapeake Inn due to an event). We definitely want to come back!"

"Had a wonderful experience here. The house is charming and the rooms very comfortable. It was great to have the lounge available late into the night for our group of 8. The outside Rum Garden was so fun and the live music, fire pits and addarondack chairs made it a cozy venue. For breakfast you get a coupon for a coffee and breakfast sandwich at the super cute shop across the street. They are located perfectly on the main street and a stone's throw from nearly everything you'd want to do there. I highly recommend you stay at The Inn at the Canal. You'll be glad you did!"

"Lovely location, hotel was nice with a couple of issues. This is a old charming hotel in need of some maintenance. Shower head was working poorly, no hot water the first morning (it was taken care of when owner notified). Lovely bathtub but needs replaced. If you are looking for charming Bed and Bar this is a nice place. For breakfast, the hotel has an arrangement with cute cafe across the street. Free breakfast sandwich and coffee. I would stay here again."
