“What a joy to step into (excuse the pun) such a great shoe shop. Marvellous customer service. Danny and his whole family work together to make it a pleasant experience. The range of shoes is great. I have to have comfortable fitting shoes and I've found a gem of a shoe shop that supplies such high quality, comfortable fitting shoes. More importantly wider fitting ones too! In the past I've walked long distance and endured the pain but with Allens footwear I'm now able to to walk long distance in amazing pain-free comfort. Walked out 2.5hrs later after ordering three outfits and your service was undoubtedly first class! My appointment was an hour long and when customers started coming in and the shop was busy I didn't feel rushed or under any pressure. I ordered outfits for my sils wedding 8 years ago when you were working from home and it's lovely to see your business grow whilst still holding the same values and having customer satisfaction at the forefront. “This place is decent. They have a good variety of stock for pretty much every sport. I come here for my airguns and ammo (pellets) and have never been disappointed. Try the exploding targets they are good fun and don't half go off with a bang”

“The 5 stars are for the shoes and young man who served us, not the whole experience. I took my grandson for his 1st pair of shoes. The member of staff who actually served us was great. He was patient, helpful, and didn't seem to get stressed when baby didn't want to have his feet measured, he couldn't have been any better, just a very nice young man, along with another male member of staff who offered extra help. I had a bit of trouble getting out of the shop. They had a barrier and a lady manning it. For some reason she mustn't have been able to see two adults with a pram waiting to get past her in her peripheral vision, another member of staff shouted her to get her attention, she then moved to the side but didn't move the barrier, when I mentioned I wouldn't be able to get the pram out she moved it a little to give us the smallest space to get out.(I work in retail so I'm always polite to staff as I know how hard it can be when dealing with customers. For some reason she wasn't being helpful at all.) Apart from that, we were very pleased with the service from the 2 young men who served us and the shoes.”

“Good choice of styles, especially if looking for party shoes. Went for daughter's prom shoes and they had lots for her to chose from. We bought the 1st pair she tried. Very reasonable prices. Man who served us very pleasant and helpful. Returned a couple of weeks later to buy a bag to match prom shoes. Again good choice of colours and styles. The man who served us was again very helpful. Would definitely recommend this shop if you're looking for shoes or bags for a special occasion.”
