“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

“Looking for a nursery for your child is one of the most stressful and worrying times, especially if your child like ours has a medical condition. OI is basically brittle bone disease, so nursey setting had to be right. After visiting a few nurseries we had almost given up hope, then The yellow door came up and it was the best decision to send our son here. It's like home from home, staff are informative and nursery settings are natural and beautiful. Risk assessments took place and support offered was amazing, he has grown in confidence and development. So happy we made the right choice .”

“We had a wonderful experience using space station for our son. They supported my son and I throughout meetings for a speech delay and worked with him when he picked up basic sign language. My son now communicates with spoken language and has come on leaps and bounds with his all round development which all the girls at space station have helped him with. “My daughter, Faye, is due to attend her 4th lesson with Rob at Marple Gracie Jiu Jitsu this Friday. Although it's technically challenging with a lot of information to absorb, especially considering she has only just turned 7 years old in February; she has really started to pick up the techniques Rob has shown her and put them into practice with the other children. During the week until the next lesson, we practice together to reinforce Robs teaching. Robs teaching is set at a good pace with each pair of children receiving a fair amount of individual time with Rob to help them develop the proper technique. The children have welcomed Faye and made her feel at home. The older children in her class have been kind and patient when she hasn't understood something which is great. Great coach, awesome children and a fun, learning environment. Would definitely recommend!”

Teaching kids and adults classes with the focus on self defence, fitness and becoming mentally the best person you can be. Best decision we've made as a family was to bring our son along. He was shy, had emotional issues and lacked any confidence. Two and a half years on he's British and European Kickboxing Champion and Qualified for 3 England teams this year.
