“Absolutely lovely pub, very nice exterior and interior. Made a last minute decision to come for Sunday roast, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they were more than happy to accommodate us in the bar area. Food came out fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. A decent sized portion and every part of it was tasty! Will definitely come again to try other items on the menu.”

“Our dog was really unwell when I called them early in the morning to arrange an emergency appointment. I’ve got it straight away. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially the doctor. She did a proper treatment and was very patient with us. I want to say thank you to them again. Highly recommended”

The driver was really friendly and said they were happy to deliver it for free because we lived so close. On top of that the food was lovely! Will definitely be ordering again.”

“Short version? Fantastic south Indian food, brilliant service and warm surroundings. Totally different to the one that was there before. Long version. Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. The whole place has a family feel and everyone was very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely meal, see you again soon.”

“We have been with White Cross Vets in Walkden years now, they were amazing when my cat got attacked the vet actually drove us in his own car to the animal hospital as she needed to be admitted. Unfortunately she passed away at the hospital and someone from White Cross rang me a couple of days later to say sorry and they sent us a card. I had a 15 year old dog called Benson which I adopted when he was 11, they were outstanding with him from the minute I got him. When I had to have him PTS they were so caring and patient because I was a mess, the vet lay on the floor with me and Benson as he didn’t like being up high, so the vet suggested laying on the floor with his blanket she made one of the hardest things I’ve ever done so calming and not scary for Benson. We now have 3 cats and a dog and each of them get amazing care from them. The only thing I don’t like is the Emergency out of hours vets they use, as I have had 1 phone call to them and all they were bothered about was talking about money, I was asking for advise over the phone and they refused to give any saying they can’t do that. I did raise this with white cross afterwards when they were back open. Thank you everyone at White Cross in Walkden”

“Good established cattery and kennel's. Always straight forward to book in and collect pets. Our cats always seem healthy and happy when collected and if you collect as they open you don't get charged for that day.would highly recommend this establishment.”

I have been trading for 25 years and find it difficult to read negative reviews and serve said customer a week later, we obviously are doing something right for you to return, feel free to find another florist for your future orders. If you want Champagne flowers for lemonade money I suggest avoiding professional florists in future and maybe try doing it yourself, if you have issue with this feel free to contact me I know you have my number !!”
