“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“What a hidden gem this place is. Went for a mates 40th and it was like stepping into pheonix nights, totally loved it. The DJ was 70 odd, but he was spinning some right tunes. Thanks for a great night”

“Lovely little place we stumbled across when walking down the canal. Fresh pizzas, the dough brought from the main kitchen in Sale but soon they will be making in house in Altrincham too. We got the margarita, vegetarian and parmesan mozerella pizza and it was probably some of the best pizza I have had around, reminds me of the pizza we had in Sorrento and Napoli. Not too heavy, but filling. The kids loved the pizza and we did too. Definitely coming back here regularly.”

“The food is delicious, with a wide selection of quality meats and a nice salad bar with lots of varieties. The people are so friendly and nice, and they accommodate kids really well. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it. Our second time there and won't be the last.”

Jonathan at Est 14 was absolutely brilliant and really looked after me. He ordered a special PPD free and ammonia free product he used to use in salon and was so incredibly careful about not touching my scalp the whole way through. “I had a very last minute event that I desperately needed a cake for. I contacted Mama’s cuisine and they graciously agreed to sort me out with a 12 inch cake. The owner only had a days notice and had other orders, but still managed to make mine, and had it ready earlier than agreed which was so great. Not only did the cake look DIVINE (and better than I could even imagine), but it tasted AMAZING! Everyone was so impressed with the cake, it actually became the centre piece of the party. I am forever grateful for Mamas Cuisine, and will most definitely be coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“A superb restaurant. We visited twice in a space of a month after getting a take away from them while at friends of ours. On the first visit, there was a very noisy table of 10 people and the waiter offered to move us downstairs, which was perfect. The food was good from the takeout but in the restaurant it was fabulous. Last night was our second visit and thankfully, although the restaurant was full, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was excellent and if I could ask for anything to be changed at all, is to ask for our food to come soon after the popodums and dips. It seems the popularity of the restaurant making it particularly busy on Saturday night on the takeout side, so while orders go out to be collected we had to wait for our food a little more than we'd want to. Again, this would never stop us from going again as it is simply one of the best Indian meals we had for a long time!”
