“We had a very comfortable, well equipped room with ample Tea and coffee and biscuits available. Large TV with an excellent bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and very helpful Andrea on reception was welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a very peaceful, tranquil location it is a very old, listed building with character. Thank you to Scott the General Manager who gave us a tour of the night club which is undergoing a major refurb and uplift. A fantastic, atmospheric, period venue perfect for any occasion. We will definitely be returning when the hotel upgrades are completed in the summer.”

“Booked a room for one night and parking whilst away on holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the process could not have been easier. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making, nice fluffy towels and piping hot shower with on site restaurant for extra convenience. Taxi to and from airport included in the price, which was cheaper than airport parking alone. We went away knowing my car was secure, having heard horror stories of cars being used whilst owners on holiday. Can highly recommend and will definitely be using again, Thank you to all the staff you're a credit to the company.”

The interior is modern, clean and comfy. The lady serving us was polite and friendly. The food was excellent. A good English breakfast and smashed avocado and egg between us both was very well received.”

It’s a family friendly building (which is nice) so if you have kids or it could be ideal for you. Marked change in the site teams attitude too which is now more approachable and friendly. “Really nice bowling alley. The lanes are a little bit shorter than at a normal bowling alley but just enjoy the ego boost. You pay by time which is great as we managed to get 2 1/2 games in the 40 minute slot (2 people). Decent bar as well with a good range. Didn't eat but the food smelt tasty. Will definitely be back.”
