“A warm relaxing ambience , open mic nights, a VERY reasonable variety of 'non-coffee' beverages - on Draught, bottle or can, a variety of comfortable seating, some basic dining options with any manner of takeaways welcomed, clean restrooms... need I go on? And they have great coffee! Excellent place to chill with friends.”

“Excellent doggie salon. Alison is brilliant with my Casper. He is quite difficult and hates his nails cut or his face, he does try to bite but Alison has percivered with him and learnt his trust. My 2 rescue frenchies also get their nails cut.”

“Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend”

“This was my first visit to Playfoots, and it won't be my last. What an amazing place! We turned up at just after 9 am on a Sunday and the place was already 3/4 full downstairs. We were welcomed and seated by an incredibly friendly hostess, who was great throughout our visit despite being obviously very busy. The coffee was as good as coffee can be. The breakfast was the best I've had for years. I had the full English and hubby had banoffee French toast. Every mouthful was gorgeous. We also loved the decor here; there was something quirky to look at in every direction, including up. I recommend Playfoots without hesitation.”

“Needed a new fridge freezer and decided to shop local. So glad I did, friendly staff, great selection and only five minutes from where I live. Not only that it was free delivery and only £10 to take my old one away. The two men delivering my new fridge freezer were brilliant, they didn't just deliver it, they put it in my kitchen and made sure it was working. Will definitely go back there again next time I need something.”

Goran is very friendly, he greats you with a fantastic smile and he offers precision hair cutting, he's a perfectionist and very attentive and goes the extra mile when cutting your hair. Darwesh barbers is a fantastic barbers affordable and good value for money, I will be coming back to Darwesh Barbers again to see Goran he is a lovely man and amazing barber. I recommend Darwesh barbers to guys especially with beards as these guy know how to tame a unruly beard haha. “Quite possibly the best fast food in Eccles. The only place I'll entertain getting a cheeky takeaway dinner on my dinner break. Food is top notch, decent lunch time meals and the chips in particular are the best I've had from a takeaway. I've read quite a snotty review from someone saying the chips are always soggy. He is clearly misinformed as I've never had this, and since I've been going occasionally for the past 4 years (it's my pay day treat!) I feel if the chips were 'always' soggy I'd have had them by now. Chicken is also very nice... and the donner meat, well thats as good as it can be I guess! Definitely worth a try!”
