"Ordered online using their convoluted ordering process. Managed to get a completed other, card charged, however when I arrived there was no sign of my order being taken. I showed them the order on their own website, and the money cleared from my account, I waited a few moments of them going on the back and then I was handed a mobile phone to speak with a random person who claimed that I input my address details wrong (for a collection order) so the money was not taken. I had heard good things about Shabna, but having seen one of the staff members pick a sheek kebab out of the frier basket with his bare hands and put it into a customers container, I'm massively relieved that the other didn't complete. Just checked and they're rated 1 for food hygiene. Absolutely not a surprise at all."
"We were in the area and due to the good star rating walked in to order a takeaway. It was around 5pm on a Monday. I walked in with a smile and a friendly hello! The man taking the orders was so ignorant. Never looked up or returned/acknowledged my greeting and grumbled ‘have you ordered?’ I said no, he fumbled for his pad like I was a total inconvenience! I did an about turn, customer service, or total lack of it means I cannot comment in the curry. Civility costs nothing and this man needs a lesson in manners and customer service. I will never cross that doorstep again and I can see from other reviews I am not the only one. There wasn't an option for zero stars!"
