“We have only used Pennine vets, at Tottington, over the last couple of weeks, for our cats, but We’ve been very impressed with the service we have received. Our cats have needed routine check ups and emergency treatment for one of them, during this short period, and can’t fault the professionalism, care, understanding and efficiency of all the staff, including the receptionists, nurses and the Vets. I don’t tend to leave reviews often, but when it’s deserved, I feel it’s right that you tell others of your experience. In short, we highly recommend Pennine Vets, due to the very positive experience we’ve had with them recently.”

“Used to take my previous Cairn Terrier - Louie there and we never a problem when he came home! Now we have another Cairn - TeSsie she’s only 6 months old and we were very concerned putting her in kennels so young but the trip we were making was unavoidable due to my husband’s (Michael) illness, however no need to have worried she was there 6 days and she’s fine , no problems back at home straight back into her/our routine! Thank you Joe and the team for looking after our furry baby so well, Tess will be back with a much less worried Mummy next time x”

“Good established cattery and kennel's. Always straight forward to book in and collect pets. Our cats always seem healthy and happy when collected and if you collect as they open you don't get charged for that day.would highly recommend this establishment.”

“John was the vet for my elderly dog a few years ago and was amazing - The concern, support and advice regarding my dog was above and beyond - nothing was too much trouble, including answering the phone and seeing my dog at any time, any day (24/7) unfortunately my pet was put to sleep - Again John was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble in relation to the information, advice and guidance he provided me with, and ensuring my wishes were followed. This was 8-9 years ago and I decided to get a kitten in 2020 - Unfortunately it already had a package with a well known big company...Huge mistake!! They were terrible once the package ran out! And only money orientated and not interested in my animal. Unfortunately my now cat obtained a wound a week ago which needed urgent treatment and I was unsure what to do....I contacted John, he answered immediately and had my my cat in and sorted on the same day (after hours and in his own time due to my working hours). The aftercare he has provided me and my cat with remains above and beyond, including regular checking up on my cat and answering questions/providing information 24/7 (most of which is in his own time!) GREAT VET WHO IS FOCUSED ON TREATING THE ANIMAL AND NOT THE MONEY!! Personally - It's nice to find someone in this day and age who is NOT interested in ripping the customer off!!”

“I'd been to a couple of other hydrotherapists, before High Lane Hydro opened, and there is no comparison. It's brilliantly equipped, superbly maintained and much more hygienic than any other I've seen. That said, the main reason it's so good is down to Emma the owner and hydrotherapist. She is truly committed, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly caring towards the dogs she works with. I am a canine behaviourist and often get asked if I know anywhere offering hydrotherapy, the only place that I recommend is High Lane.”

“Chickens of a number of varieties can be seen here. It's kept clean and the chickens running around here look really happy and healthy. In winters some chickens maybe seen without feathers due to to a natural process called moulting where they shed existing feathers and grow new ones.”
