“I have recommended this shop many times. They have supplied me with a number of appliances over the years -a freezer, washing machines, a cooker, including delivery to a top floor flat (something Currys baulked at doing). Their prices are compatible and often better than John Lewis and they go the extra mile to find spare parts for appliances. My old Kenwood mixer has been kept going because they, and only they, found the spares.I would always use them now rather than a large distributor because of their great customer care.”

“REAL ALE MECCA!!! NOT YOUR AVERAGE BARGAIN BOOZE! Around 3 years ago I asked if there was any chance of getting a few more real ales in to add to a fairly small, ersatz selection. I went in the other day and there were yet more new arrivals to add to the must be over 100 ales already on offer. Ales from £1 - £43 a bottle to suit all palates. Local ales well represented and international craft breweries too, such as the excellent Nest Brewery from Japan. Full credit to Paul and the team - the selection is second to none and refreshingly priced too. Well worth a visit.”

“Had an awesome Kottu and Sri Lankan food experience after some time. We live in Leeds and have not been able to find any Sri Lankan restaurants around here. Found this little gem which is about 1 and half hours away but it was worth the trip. The Kottu was great and had an authentic taste to it. Can recommend and will be visiting again.”

“There are 5 great great burger places in England I’ve tried… Almost Famous, Slap & Pickles, Fat Hippo, Burger & Beyond and this place… and I’d argue this place (along with Slap & Pickles) are the best.. Menu is a whole load of fun, they always have great specials and the sides and chicken are great too… it’s only a small place so there isn’t a whole load of space but I quite like that about it!! Feel like a bit of a tucked away American diner!!! Honestly - get yourself here… you won’t be disappointed!! You’ll be very full… but deffo not disappointed!! :)”
