"Had my dog booked in for an operation, dropped him off at 9am as required, 2 hours later, received a phone call to collect my dog as they've cancelled the operation due to an emergency and they don't have enough vets now. I understand emergencies are unforseen but to not have a contingency plan to deal with the situation other than to cancel pre booked operations is ridiculous, that's a days pay I've lost for nothing and now I'll have to lose another day's pay for the operation my dog needs on top of the vets bill, and hillcrest aren't exactly the cheapest vets."
