Hannah is so creative with the props for class, and she does a brilliant job at engaging all the babies and parents. It's just such a lovely group to go to, and we look forward to it every Tuesday. “The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“After taking our 18month very lively boxer dog to see Glyn for only 2 lessons so far, the results have been amazing!!! Glyn is showing us how to keep our dog engaged and be in control. Glyn has an amazing way of making our dog want to learn and listen, skills he is very patiently trying to pass to us. We all love the lessons and come away with new skills to practice each time. After having a puppy during lockdown, with no way of meeting new people in his first year, Glyn has been absolutely brilliant with his over excitement issues. I truly cannot rate Cheshire Dog services enough. I am looking forward to our next lesson!!!!”

“9 weeks ago, I first went to meet Lindsey to have an assessment on my back and try my first Pilates session. As I bloke, I always thought that Pilates was not really a “man thing” to do but having exhausted everything else to ease my sciatica I thought “why not give it a try?” I joined the mat class with Jenny, as well as having 1-2-1s with Lindsey, and the first week I struggled to properly engage my core and glutes and I had no idea where was pelvic floor was, let alone how to activate it. I was constantly having to put my hand down to stop myself from falling over. Week 4, I noticed the tingling sensation I had had in my left foot for 18 months had stopped! My back felt a bit better supported and I realised how much I was enjoying the sessions. My steadying hand was required less and less. Now, after 9 weeks of work, I can honestly say Pilates is the best thing I’ve done in years. I’ve lost some weight, my stomach is tighter, my legs stronger and I’ve stopped worrying so much about my back “going again”. Lindsey, Jenny and the team are so patient, take time to make sure you are in the right position to be safe and get the most out of each session. The pace is great for beginners or the more experienced. Pilates has made me feel better, in body and mind, than I ever thought possible. I cannot thank Lindsey and Jenny enough for their patience, skill, advice and for showing me that I could do it.”

I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”

“Cardwell Theatre School is absolutely brilliant! I learnt to dance there, Miss Lynda (Cardwell) was my teacher and now I'm lucky enough that my daughter also attends. They cater for a range of ages (although mostly 3-18) and abilities, whether you're starting out or would like to consider a career on the stage. They offer a range of different classes, from ballet to tap and musical theatre - even adult jazz and tap classes. The school has produced a number of noted performers including performers with the Royal National Ballet, and recently former students staring in Billy Elliot, Shrek the Musical and Wicked. I cannot recommend highly enough!”
