We were lucky enough to be in on the last day of their festive menu, which was both extremely tasty and great bang for buck. “A beautiful Little hidden gem in Cheadle village. We ate here for the very first time and I can honestly say this has been the nicest Indian street food we have had in a very long time! “I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

The food was amazing, I had the grill Ribeye which was stunning, my partner had the salmon which was a very good size and cooked very well. The desserts were enjoyable and the cocktails were good. Excellent choice of wine for a good price and I would recommend the montepulciano.”

I would have to say much nicer than the Knutsford restaurant, with sounds of coffee cups slamming & cutlery thrown around... not relaxing! I'd definitely recommend Cheadle Hulme Gusto. Seating looks lovely for alfresco dining in the summer too. Lovely evening spent for my boyfriend's birthday, with his kids & their partners. All left very happy. Thank you.”

“(Oct 2022 update) Since last review new landlord now in situ. All change under the new team! Certainly more or additional televisions showing football when I called in. This is still a great local pub in Cheadle village. A great range of Hyde's beers at a very reasonable prices. Well worth trying to see the changes & sample some excellent beer.”

“NOT OPEN LUNCHTIME HOURS ON WEEKDAYS Never actually been however the business is closed lunchtime hours on weekdays, google and their front door have not been updated 5* as not to effect their star rating :)”

“Had not eaten at this place for a few years but heard it was under new management, as I like Indian food and my wife prefers Thai I thought I would give it a try, I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill and my wife had Chicken Green curry. Both meals were amazing and will certainly be using this as our number one takeaway.”

“Great pub this. We only called in for an hour and stayed all night. Nice to see really good entertainment on. The Committee band really worked hard and played all the dance floor hits. The girl singer was amazing and they seemed to be on all night. Let us know when next they are on and we’ll be there. The staff were very polite and really got into the music. Great vibe.
