“This was our first visit to the Bengal Curry Pot, so it had to be right because we were celebrating a birthday. From stepping into the premises we were greeted with smiling faces and very attentive staff. This was a surprisingly large dining area, with spacious comfortable seating. A selection of tasteful Bollywood music created a perfect atmosphere. The food was indeed excellent as was the service. The cost was very reasonable. We will be returning.”

“Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .”

So ensure you type in the actual address when wanting to come here and not click directions from google :) it will save you a 20 mins drive lol Great service, food is top notch, prices are good with a great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. They have gluten free bread. Although not celiac friendly, as the kitchen is not set up for A gluten free station. They did ensure the bread was grilled away from the areas wheat had touched. Kids menu available and also a Dog menu too. The staff were really helpful.”

If you're looking for a good night out with welcoming staff and locals or a really nice meal, I honestly can't recommend this place enough. “Come for the views, stay for the burger. We went for lunch on a nice Saturday. The views are amazing and the food was even better. We ordered the cheesy cow burger and it was outstanding. The cheese and onion fritter just oozed melted cheese. The beef is top quality. Absolutely stuffed. Had some superb ice cream after. Rum & Raisin and espresso for me, chocolate for my wife. Will definitely be back.”

“It's just a lovely pub. The welcome is good, the beer is very good and the food is excellent. Four-spice chicken curry with half and half chips and rice was particularly good. Have eaten here several times over the years and the high quality has been maintained. Worth travelling some distance!”
