“We decided to take a chance & come here for a bite to eat before we were going to the Theatre. We were tempted in by their 50% off food during January. Best decision of the night, we will definitely be going back here. It is a big place and when we got there at 5pm, there were plenty of tables. 2 hours later, it was busy. All the staff are amazing, especially Thomas & Monica. We had the ribs, Beef brisket sandwich and the Big burger. I also had one of the cocktails too. The service is fantastic, friendly & quick. The food and drink was delicious. As we were celebrating a special occasion, Thomas, Monica and the others made sure that it was extra special and a night to remember. I was bowled over by their kindness. It is a place were I will definitely go for food when I'm in town again. I have a feeling that it is also going to be a favourite for my 22 year old son, girlfriend & friends to go for drinks too as it is especially appealing to their age group too.”

“Incredible Food We took a gamble by travelling 26 miles after one of the lads watched a TikTok review of this restaurant. We were cautious upon arrival as the venue was empty so much so we ventured to a nearby restaurant and were told we should expect an almost 2 hour wait. Reluctantly We returned to this restaurant and were at this time the only ones in there, however we could see telephone orders being taken out by their delivery lad. After placing the order, starters and mains we waited a little while longer than what were normally used to but spotted the sign on the wall advising us that the food was being prepared in a coal oven grill explaining slightly longer cooking times. Staff were courteous snd smily throughout our visit. The food when delivered was without exception ‘amazing’ in a word, I’ll say it again AMAZING. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted quality. It’s rare that all of us would ever agree on the quality of food we ate but it was unanimously agreed that this was a great choice. Everything cooked just perfect, fresh and full of flavour. Whilst we was eating two other groups arrived which filled the atmosphere. I’m completely oblivious to why more people were not eating here. So much so asked the staff, they asked that I review the venue and here I am. We ordered, for starters the Halloumi, Cheesy Nachos and garlic prawns. For the main, two combo fillet meals boxes , a chicken burger, a ghost burger with cheesy chips … there was a little left over at the end however that was because the 4.5 of us were stuffed. Guys, I strongly recommend this place as a must go to if you like quality food at a good price. Thank you to the staff, both at the front and the back. We will be back. “It was lovely experience eating middle Eastern food, it was very busy during the day. lot of takeaway requests which means they are busy people,long queue for getting a table even though we booked prior coming. Authentic food but place gets messy due to busiest hours. They have restrooms on top floor but I don't think it's very comfortable place for wheelchairs users. “Nell’s is tremendous. The design and fit out are a real step up, and the ethos comes through in spades, plus it’s a fun space to spend time in. All the slices we tried were great, crispy base, plenty of olive oil and top class toppings. Draught beers cover all your modish crafty requirements and the rest of the drinks menu is well put together. Staff were super friendly to us. I hope it settles into Kampus and it deserves to be a popular fixture in the city”

“I’ve been advised not to get Indian food from up north as the taste just isn’t it, however, I still decided to go ahead and order from here. Got a chicken biryani and lamb biryani both with madras sauces. The food was perfect, we all enjoyed it and portions were great too. One thing I would advise is putting your prices up, it’s too cheap for what it is and especially your just eat and uber menu. They need to be 30% higher to make up for the fees they take! Inshallah you do well, will come back to have this again when I come up north.”

“Food is lovely. Expensive for what it is and somewhat over priced. The staff try and be too technical and insist on taking orders on ipads. They don't accept cash which is a problem when I have been in the past and the system stops working. The food is lovely so it definitely compensates although not something you most afford to do regular. Great for couples etc. But would definitely be far too expensive to go with a family and children. Although there is seating outside none of the inside is wheelchair accessible if you wanted to keep warm. Very young staff for the most part but lovely.”

“Love it here, it’s one of our favourite places to eat, we are plant based and there’s always plenty to choose from, and we do have the fish now and then, it’s always gorgeous and tasty, and they do a dam good cocktail too x”

“I arranged a surprise birthday get together for my husband’s birthday on 23rd October. Lauren was fantastic in helping me organise this & sectioned off the room behind the bar for family & friends. I ordered sandwiches for everyone who attended. They were delicious & everyone enjoyed them. All our family & friends agreed that the Norfolk Arms is a great pub, with great staff & a great atmosphere. Thanks for making the surprise party really special! Highly recommend!”

“The best chicken burger iv ever had! Great tasting fresh chicken, good cheese used on it none of that cheap kerrymaid stuff, thick juicy fillets used and a great strong none falling apart bun. Went kinda late and was still busy. Prices are slightly higher thats my only issue but still its not something that will impact my review. To be honest these guys have smashed it.”

“What a lovely restaurant. I went with the In Laws so we had a table of 4. Service was exceptional and they couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks came quick and they were always asking if we are ok. The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place. Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.”
