“We were very satisfied with Zizzi. Everything was very tasty, fresh and super quick. We did not wait long to get our order on our table. Staff were polite and willing to help you. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, it is very well decorated and you can actually see the kitchen and the pizza oven! It is a bit pricey for the portions you get but you get compensated by the quality of the food. Definitely worth it.”

The guys in the store were really friendly, and on top of the takeout deal we got, they threw in a free tub of ice cream for my son. The first notable point is how much this doesn't feel like a Levenshulme location but more aligned with Manchester dining venues. The lighting is low and creates an intimate atmosphere, heightened by the proximity to other diners, which some may feel a bit too close but you've got to pack them in - on the 2 occasions I've visited both have been packed! The food is as perfect as you'd expect. The ingredients are carefully selected to offer a taste that doesn't hit you over the head, instead offering subtle flavours. Pair this with a carefully curated selection of wines and beers and you've got a great night guaranteed. If you have room I'd definitely recommend having the Pistachio ice cream to finish - the best I've tasted this side of the North Sea.”

“Amazing authentic Halal Chinese in Manchester. We ordered a variety of dishes off the menu and each item was out of this world! All flavours were so unique and the dips - loved the HK sauce (which came with each dish) each complimented the flavours so well. We ordered the prawn and chicken dumplings steamed dumplings, the typhoon squid and veggie spring rolls to start and was pleasantly surprised with how hot and fresh each of the items were. This was followed by our Bao buns; Prawn and Chicken bao were absolutely scrumptious. We thought it couldn’t get any better and then came the star of the show… Lamb on Crack! Just WOW - melt in your mouth lamb with an amazing taste which makes them sooooo addictive - Now we understand why they’re called “Lamb on Crack”!!! Just truly blown away by the whole experience: food, service, prices and hospitality. Very generous owner who went above and beyond to satisfy its customers with a service with a smile and hot fresh food, all at a great price - this is an example of how a food business should be. They do vegan cheese for the pizzas (plenty of options to choose from) and vegan Nutella for their dessert option (they also delicious lemon and raspberry sorbets). The pizza base is perfect, thin and crispy. The size is perfect and filled me up nicely when I was starving. The pizza is served with vegan garlic mayo, which is OUT OF THIS WORLD!”
