“Reading the other recent reviews here, I can understand the general comments. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, but nothing else went wrong at all. The food we ate was first class, we all finished the lot! We were served by a man with glasses called Will. He literally didn't stop in the 2 hours we were there. He was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He clearly understands his job role. Unfortunately the other staff members didn't seem as switched on. In my opinion of course. So for Will's first class service, as well as the exceptional food, 5 stars. We just hope it isn't Will's day off when we return!”

“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

“My new favourite local takeaway, Franco's, never disappoints. From the pizza to the pasta dishes they are are always superb, great friendly staff and fast turn around on the orders. food is authentic with beautifully crips pizzas that arent over loaded.”

“Highly commended on all fronts. A really nicely presented shop with a small seating area, really lovely and helpful staff. And the food was all excellent. We tried some goat curry, the chicken, a dumpling, rice with peas and a lovely fresh salad. All really tasty and fresh. Sorry, no pictures this time but we will definitely be back!”

“We visit here for the first time yesterday for my friends birthday, a group of 10 people. The staff were very accommodating and polite and quick to serve us. The menu isn't overwhelming, yet with lots of choice and the food, well........ Absolutely gorgeous, fresh, full of flavour, and served beautifully. We will most certainly be back. “After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

“Visited in the morning with a friend for some breakfast. We ordered the English breakfast and the desi one. Both were very hearty. A very warm welcome from the staff, service was great and overall a lovely place. Will definitely recommend and I'll coming back again. We finished off with dessert. A peanut butter stack and the chocolate churros all freshly made really enjoyed it. Huge thank you and well done to the staff x All the best x ❤”

“Superb vegan food made with love . Our first visit today and we loved everything we ordered . The Bharli Vangi (aubergine with peanuts )was delicious. Very affordable prices for excellent quality fresh ingredients. It was a joy to have so much choice with the reassurance that the kitchen prepares only vegetables and no meat or dairy .”

“Booked Interclubbers for our sons christening and was very impressed. From the point of booking Nat has been fab, answered all my questions promptly. On the day of the christening Nat and Dale helped us set up the room. We hired the balloon arch which just made the decoration and hired the bouncy castle which all the kids loved. Both of these was very reasonably priced. Nat did the hot food buffet which all my guests commented on nice it was again much cheaper than other quotes i got and worth every penny. Staff were extremly friendly and we will defo use this venue again as staff went above and beyond Thank you to both for making our day a great one”

“Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”
