“Came here on Sunday and got the "two for £20" deal on Sunday roast, amazed at the great quality and value for money. We were seated in one of the booths which was really comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 of us, there is perspex screens in-between all the seating making us all feel safe. Staff were really friendly and everything was a smooth operation. Can't wait to come back and have another roast.”

“Visited Rain Bar for pre-concert food and drinks last night. Service was great (thank you Ursula!) and the fish and chips was excellent, and great value in my opinion. In fact, everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, so will be back soon to try one of the home-made pot pies.”

“Popped in whilst travelling past. Amazing food, friendly service and lovely pub. The beef wrap was INCREDIBLE. Beef so full of flavour and literally melt in the mouth. Gravy was epic and chips so good too. Kids loved the nuggets and fries and other family members had the roasts. Apparently the best roasts they have had in 15yrs. Proper home cooked food, roasts AND mash and veg that tasted like proper veg! Again epic gravy! Family live over half an hour away but will defo travel again for another visit. 5 stars and more! “We had alovely meal today. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub was lovely and clean. We didn't wait long for are food. 2 of us had fish and chips which were very nice. 1 mushroom pie which also very tasty. And chicken new yorker. We all had cheesecake which just finished off our meal. Will be visiting again soon.”

“Really lovely food, plenty of choice for everyone and quick, friendly service. It was quite busy which is a great sign but meant the little car park was quite full but managed to get a space. Nice garden outside too which will be great for summer. Will be returning to try more of the great menu (can definitely recommend the beef stroganoff)!”

“Stopped off here for a quick drink and to watch the cyclist for IronMan going past with a group of friends. As we were waiting at the bar to be served the food coming out of the kitchen smelt great so we asked the girls on the bar for a quick look at the menu. The staff were brilliant, we asked them if they could stick the F1 on for us and they did straight away. We were indecisive as to whether to order food or not but one of the girls talked us round, we had a laugh and a bit of banter with her. The food arrived promptly & was homely, freshly cooked & tasty pub grub, all for a reasonable price. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch & the Cheese & Onion Pie. Looking forward to our next visit already.”

“Ooo I've gotta lot of me.ories here!! Aghh so so sooo many!! We just went the other day too!! Once our friend fell down the muddy hill on a snowy wet day. It gets so muddy!!! The field is also cool but some man that maybe worked doing something there chased us across the field telling us to get off the grass kind of!! Also if you go through the bushes in the back there's like a tennis court I think is near in the waggon ways?!”
