“Quirky with a vintage twist. I love this little café. It's so inviting and you can smell the beautiful food as you approach. The new location is definitely better for size. There's seating inside and out which makes a change for this area. I love the shear selection of tea and I'm slowly trying to work my way through them all. So far my favourite is the fairy wings tea. They also have a great milkshake selection. The bacon butties are amazing. Plus the homemade cakes and scones are a must try.”

Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. I didn't go upstairs, but maybe they have more sitting space there. We tend to order from there or eat there once a week :). It's better when we eat there though.”

“Best sandwich shop in the area. I used to go Martins bakery over the road but after trying hazels once I swapped over. Hazels puts more fillings on my butty and is cheaper. I like the fact hazels cuts ham straight off the joint rather than using ham from a packet. It just taste better and is better value. I'm a regular customer now.”

“As an Asian myself, I’m very picky and wary about Asian food outside of Asia, I often find them unauthentic and a bit bland but definitely not this restaurant. I have been here many times and the food has never disappointed me. Green curry here tastes better than most of Thai restaurants I have been to in Asia and in the UK, has such a deep flavour in it. Mixed starters are delicious with proper Asian dipping sauce. The members of staff are nice and friendly, especially May, I like her, she’s such an enthusiastic waitress. I will always come back and introduce this restaurant to all of my friends xx”

“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”

“Really tasty chicken and great value. Chicken pieces were huge and even the boneless parts were juicy inside. The wings (we got the spicy sauce) were delicious. Enough chips for two in one portion. Ordered for collection through their website and was served quickly. We’ll be coming back to clear out the place again soon!”
