“Manchester on a Sunday Morning for Bruch was a lot busier than we thought. Luckily we got a table at Idle Hands. I'm super glad we did. Lovely atmosphere. We ordered and shared: Meaty Hash Brown Stack and Divorced Eggs. Both tasted fantastic. Food came quickly and was presented like a work of art. It was so good, I really can't recommend it enough. I ordered one of their famous pies and can tell why. I got the Banana Milk Pie and it was so light and creamy. Top marks.”

Following a super pricey MOT elsewhere previously in the year I was trying to find a garage that wouldn't completely rip me off and was pleasantly surprised by the service and welcome that they provided me at Poplar Garage. Fair prices and super friendly service. They even did a minor job on my car on the spot as they knew I was going away over the weekend - I was honestly so happy and grateful. Football shirts of all teams all countries/ leagues and international teams, even signed shirts. The shop is a great idea and is amazing to see all the old shirts that you can purchase”

“I had a great stay here. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I asked for cheese to have for breakfast and they brought me some. The breakfast basket they provided contained some nice items. I had a one day stay for business. Booking was through our corporate system. I managed to park on premises, no issues as the site is safe. Upon leaving they requested payment, I mentioned that the corporate booking company would settle, and offered to leave my details in case of issues, they appreciated this. No problems whatsoever. I'd definitely stay again when visiting Manchester for business. If there's one thing I would like them to improve is the breakfast offering. There's a fridge in the room, please offer slices of cold cuts such as cheese and ham along with bread and butter, you don't need to leave these items in the fridge for every guest but I do believe you should have them on demand if requested. I was provided two small blocks of cheese rather than slices, I was happy to have the cheese but I was unable to have a "proper" breakfast sandwich of buttered bread with cheese and ham slices... a chunky block of cheese does not taste very good in the middle of a huge piece of bread.”

“We decided to try Sokrates for our first restaurant meal out after having just moved to Sale from Birmingham. I have a soft spot for Greek food, but being vegetarians we have found in the past it can be difficult to find authentic and tasty veggie Greek food in the UK. At Sokrates we had a great experience. We ordered the vegetable moussaka which comes served with a small portion of Greek salad, and the four dip selection which comes with a basket of hot pitta bread. We decided to share the good between us The moussaka was a very generous portion and easily fed the two of us. The flavour was incredible. A lovely warmth from the traditional spicing of allspice, nutmeg, clove, and bayleaf. The dips were also very tasty, I especially enjoyed the beetroot skordalia. It had a wonderful glow of garlic. The interior is that of a homely traditional taverna, with plenty of tables of different sizes. The staff are friendly and generous.”

“Excellent service, I work down the road from the hair sanctuary and got my hair dyed for the first time by Naomi. Amazing had my afro popping with pinks, purples and reds... I was worried initially as I had never dyed my hair before and I also suffer from sensitivity. I felt at ease I got to look at the products Naomi went through the process and how it changes the hair..... Trust me when I say I have missed you during the lockdown but will be booking in this month x”
