“We went here on the second day. They have a very nice and simple menu of great traditional Mediterranean dishes. We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. “We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

This is a top Indian restaurant, I always order knowing the food will be top quality because they never let us down. It's always clean, it can get very busy during the bank holidays. There is parking at the back of Sainsbury's.”

“Today I went to Linguine for my best friends 21st birthday meal. There were 9 of us in total and the staff at the restaurant made sure to seat us on a large table with plenty of space. The table was very clean and set up lovely. The staff were very welcoming and friendly from the get go. The staff made sure that nobody was left without a drink and would regularly ask if we needed anything else. The waiting time for food was short and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The food portions were very generous and very good for the price! The staff also brought out a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. It was a lovely meal for my friends birthday all thank you to the staff at the restaurant. They definitely made our evening. I will be returning:) Thank you so much for such a wonderful night.”

“We had our wedding at Park Manor and the day went perfectly - all down to Parag and the staff. Parag is very attentive to detail - much so that he had to rearrange the table settings which the venue dresser I hired for the day left in such a mess. The food was beautiful as always and Parag made everything so easy and relaxed for us and our guests on our special day. We have visited the restaurant on several occasions, mostly to celebrate a special day - as we are always guaranteed excellent food and lovely service. Mr & Mrs Snowdon-Gill”

We came as a large group 20 people, it was explained to us simply how to use the hot pots and staff were so keen to help (keep our hotpot topped up, refill our water) food was amazing, and so many different types of vegetarian food and gluten free clearly labeled, we were so impressed, and surprisingly filled up. “Superb food, great dining experience and friendly staff. Never had a bad experience. All the staff are very welcoming and remember faces which is always a nice touch. Two of my favourite menu items (Rabbit starter and Beef Short Rib Starter) have been removed, but you are still inundated with choice. Servings are also great for an Italian. When you are inside, you actually forget that you are in Oldham. Highly recommended.”

“What can I say? Incredible doesn't quite cover it. My niece and I went yesterday as a treat for her 30th birthday. We were greeted with a smile, the door opened for us, and promptly taken up to homage on the mezzanine level above the glorious and very impressive restaurant. We were seated in the most exquisite room, and both felt very special indeed. Our jackets were taken and hung, the menu's described to us. We each ordered a cocktail to start, and these were delicious . Amy had the special cocktail of the day which was aptly called lovely lady ( very fitting for my niece) and I really wanted something with an almond flavour, so one was created for me, very impressive. We then ordered our cheeses, 3 to start, and we paired these with wine. We followed this with even more of the extensive cheese selection. Again paired with wine. Each cheese has a chutney alongside it to pair with the flavour of the cheese. Some little bread roll, and some biscuits that basically melted in your mouth. I even had a dessert which was incredible, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of this, but it was a little like a creme brulle, with tonka bean flavour ( similar to vanilla) it had the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The room we were in was absolute luxury. There was relaxing background music, candlelight everywhere, very comfortable chairs, an extremely intimate feeling to it. We literally had the room to ourselves which made it feel even more special. The bathroom is situated on the same floor which is great. Last but by no means least , Michael was our incredible host, very knowledgeable about every wine and cheese, extremely professional, attentive and I would say an absolute asset to Wood. Thank you Michael for making our visit so memorable and special. I would highly recommend homage at Wood. You will not be disappointed.”

“We stopped in here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding and had we had more time we would have kept chatting with our server. This was made perfect by the quality and taste of the 3 dishes we had. The Babaghanouj, Bourak and Maklubeh were outstanding! We’d never had the 2 last dishes and loved the flavor. “Short version? Fantastic south Indian food, brilliant service and warm surroundings. Totally different to the one that was there before. Long version. Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. “So we get to this place and it was busy, We hadn't booked a table so we were told that we may not be able to dine. As we travelled from Bradford, we were told we could wait until a certain time if the party that had been booked hadn't arrived. Well, the party didn't arrive and we were given a table, I can not honestly fault this place. From customer service to the food service, everything was spot on. It's a Saturday night and considering how busy they were every customer was well looked after with the same level of service throughout. We enjoyed our mocktails and the mains were amazing. We also got a complimentary free dessert and were so touched by this gesture. Danyal who went out of his way from when we came into the place to leaving was a star. Definitely recommend this place you will not be disappointed.”

“An amazing experience! The inside is decorated beautiful, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was divine. We had the takoyaki and fried tofu to start. After this we had the sushi set 1 (mixed fish sushi selection) and vegetarian sushi set (mixed vegetables selection) which was incredibly yummy, fresh and looked beautiful! We finished our meal with ice cream mochi and pancakes. In total the price was beyond reasonable (think under £60 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and alcoholic drinks) Will definitely be back!”
