“Quirky with a vintage twist. I love this little café. It's so inviting and you can smell the beautiful food as you approach. The new location is definitely better for size. There's seating inside and out which makes a change for this area. I love the shear selection of tea and I'm slowly trying to work my way through them all. So far my favourite is the fairy wings tea. They also have a great milkshake selection. The bacon butties are amazing. Plus the homemade cakes and scones are a must try.”

“Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”

“Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend”

“Sextons is a bakery , coffee and brunch place as well. The quality of all products i ve tried exceed my expectations. The location is just lovely, touching the river. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful and polite. I rarely give 5 stars If it was a sixth star i wouldnt hesitate to give it to Sextons”

“Amazing and delicious caramel latte made here which comes in different sizes with perfect temperature and presented very neatly. I've been here several times and the service has never failed to disappoint with friendly staff members and always a bubbly atmosphere. “Honestly the hospitality is amazing, I went there with my friend me her and had an amazing breakfast/brunch, its cosy to sit and chat with your friends the staff are amazing, I think the person that served me was the owner and I must say so polite. The food itself was amazing chicken tender as you can get lamb soft like butter. There home made sauce definitely try it perfect spice. 100% it's worth your time Bonus if your a smoker they have tables outside for you aswell.”

“Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”
