“Greeted at the door. Took my son for a post football treat. Not that normal sort of place as is aimed at discerning diners/lunch seekers, we were lad and dad brunch seekers! The lady and gent that served us were really attentive and alert. Lovely with my 8 year old too. Divided things on menu to accommodate us and just made us feel like we could stay there all day it was that relaxed. Food was of a high standard and arrived still warm and fresh from the oven. Scotch bonnet chilli sauce was especially good which we got with our pizza. The sorbets are well above average too. All in all a great place, loved it! We were served by Elle and Isaac. Who enhanced an already good experience.”

“As a veteran of eating in Indian restaurants I have to say Dilshad is a great discovery. Elaborate menu with so many dishes I’ve never seen before (which is really unusual). I’m slowly working my way through them when I’m in Manchester and it feels being 18 again trying things for the first time! Lovely atmosphere with a charming young bartender called Joshua who is a very witty individual to say the least and had my sister in stitches all night! Everything we ordered was extra fresh and tasty. If felt like it was fresh from the market today and the chef was on form. They close in November and we try other Chinese takeaways in Wilmslow which are much more expensive. thank you for keeping your prices down and still serving such good food.”

“When where flying from Manchester Airport we always stay at Best Western Pinewood Hotel & this place is about 10mins walk down the road. Its an excellent place to get really nice food, they have an extensive menu plus there's always the carvery to choose from, the staff are always very friendly everytime we have been in & have a very large outdoor play area for children”

I've tried Big John's smashes burgers, loaded chips, supreme chicken burger and Asian style pizza. The staff are very friendly and I got the opportunity to meet and chat with the regional manager too.
