“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”

“I come to Wagamama regularly and I can say never disappoints!! Always nice service, friendly and helpful staff, delicious and beautifully served food! New plant based menu is just out of this world - smoothies, small dishes, mains, have tried most of them and they are so so good! Especially Chicken buns and ribs. Love every bit of it!! Would add more desserts - for example a vegan cheesecake!”

“I brought my Thai mum here and I am so glad I did! I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at the menu and photos, but wow, if you want delicious, authentic Thai food, this is the place. There are so many incredible dishes on the menu that you just can’t get in a lot of other Thai restaurants, I can’t wait to come back and try more already! We came pretty early, about 4 o clock, and we were there till 7 because we loved it so much and were chatting away with Chef May. It did start getting pretty busy after 6 though (even on a Wednesday), so I would definitely recommend booking ahead! I find it a bit ridiculous that people are complaining about the issue of the toilet being round the corner, it’s really not far and I noticed that other restaurants and businesses in Deansgate Mews also have their own toilets in the same block. It’s hardly a sacrifice to eat delicious Thai food in a cute, casual setting in my opinion, unless you have mobility issues, but hey, each to their own. I also disagree with the complaints I’ve seen about pricing, considering chef May’s prices are in line with every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many), plus her food is tasty, excellent quality, and are generous portions too. Myself and my mum both got one of our favourite noodle dishes - Kuai Tiew Moo Nam Tok, and the portion was huge! I also highly recommend the tod maan pla (thai fishcakes). “Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

“Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”

“This is my second time visiting Koreana. The staff are professional and attentive. Everything is great. We ordered some BBQ dishes and they were perfectly seasoned. The BBQ also came with lettuce and a variety of sauces and pickled greens which complement them nicely. Every dish we have tried so far is amazing. And their homemade desserts are not to be missed. We always order their ice creams after a meal; they are refreshing and satisfying especially after a heavy BBQ dinner. Service is great. We ordered assorted pickles and were given just one type. We thought it was strange so asked a waiter who then immediately checked it for us. They quickly brought out the right dish and apologised for the mistake. So very pleased all in all. The only things I would nitpick on are that the portion seems a bit small for the price. But since they don’t charge a service fee the total bill is still quite reasonable. And also they tend to bring out all dishes at once so I’d recommend to order the desserts after you’ve finished with your meal. Definitely recommend and will always come back here for Korean BBQ.”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“It was a very relaxing and beautiful experience! I took my mum for a birthday breakfast. The food was great, you get a continental breakfast buffet and can order few dishes on the side. The food quality was great and the price was really convenient. The service was amazing the manger that day Magdy, he helped us getting a beautiful dessert as surprise for my mum. It was my first time but definitely not the last!! I would highly recommend it.”

“First time at Akbar's today and I was very impressed! The food is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes cannot be grumbled at. Also, the giant "family naan" is a must have and definitely worth it - very tasty as well. The "Big un" challenge is very tasty and you get a lot of food for just under £15, definitely worth it! The food was very tasty and enjoyable, service was also quick and staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was quite extensive as well and has lots of options, vegans go elsewhere because none of your fake plant meat stuff is served here. Would definitely return. One bad thing I'd say is the size of the main eating area, it does seem to be rather cramped and the tables aren't that big either, because it's cramped there's basically people walking past your table the entire time, not the end of the world but when you're sat near a family of loud kids that decide to run around and knock into your table it does get annoying!”

“Best kebab I ve had in my life. The size of it could feed 3 of us. I specifically asked to have my nan well done and it arrived just perfect! Quality of the meet was so great that it melted in my mouth. So fresh and thin cut. They couldn’t do more. Defiantly my fave take away place so far. Ps. The driver was so polite and even came back to let me know I ve given too much money where really it was his tip. It just shows how honest and profecional they are. Fantastic services!”

We originally came in out of curiosity but will be returning for the quality. We got the Chicken Taco'o with their burger mayo and Algerian sauce, and oh mon dieu, was it amazing. The only grievance we have is that we didn't get more of it! If you want to start your day right, boost your day, or end your evening, come to this place, honestly, you won't regret it.”
