“Brilliant hotel. Rooms were excellent. 24 hr staffing. First time of staying here Definately won't be the last. Asked for a disabled room for myself and my wife. Got what we asked for. The lift took us to our floor and our room was straight in front of it. So not far to walk. Great parking facilities as well.”

“Parking is easy if arriving early at the woods entrance near the college main gate. Lovely walk through the trees by the river, then up around the water works onto farmland where you may see deer. Then around the wonderful wild glade woods and back again. Saw lots of Wrens, Robins, Finches, Nuthatch etc. The usual suspects. Looks nice and clean, mostly.”

“A wonderful park...BMX track which we enjoyed watching people use, different areas of the park including an area with sandpit, swings, slides, climbing apparatus, a zip line that was unfortunately broken, a small pond with ducks and a fantastic interactive game with silver poles that had built in touch screen games such as 2 people one is red one is blue and when your colour lights up on pole you hit it to turn it off - never seen before and it was a huge hit!!”

“Really nice national trust park. Has a Cafe and lots of fresh farm produce shops available. Also has a farm and garden but I think they cost extra. Lots of wildlife to be seen along the trails. Only complaint is a lot of the trails are shared with cars and due to the location you often hear planes flying very low.”

“Recommended to Hays and particularly this branch in Horwich by my brother in law, who lives locally.. Met by smiles all round and immediately sat in with "Clare." She was delightfully personable, extremely knowledgeable, very efficient and ultimately made us feel very reassured that our holiday was well taken care of. It was such a breath of fresh air to arrange our holiday with a "person" rather than impersonally, "online." “My husband and myself have just returned from a 5 day break to Colchester. An excellent holiday from beginning to end. Luxury coach travel with informative and carefully planned excursions. The Holiday Inn hotel was of a very high standard. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Scott our driver was first class, professional and made the care and well being of his passengers his top priority. This was a lovely relaxing holiday and despite being out on trips every day there was no rush or early timed schedules, everything was done in a nice carefree way. “Brilliant experience. Staff are abit slow we waited and waited for a steak knife had to ask for it again and after the meal they asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu but never came back to take out order so we paid and left, but apart from that it was great.”

“Great pizza but young lad on the till is definitely mentally handicapped, I'm actually reluctant to order again cuz of how annoying it is to be served by him. Kid either struggles with basic requests, overcharges you cuz he forgets that the offer is on or pretends to forget your change so you give him a tip for walking 3 steps to bring the food to the car.”

“It's a beautiful place to visit with a boating lake, aviaries, play areas for big kids and little kids and some lovely short walks. Not to mention bowling tennis football and a cafe. It's also got a train and ice-cream in summer. It's just unfortunate that the botanical house has died a death ( shame on you shameside!)”

“This is the best park in Bolton because there is some cleaning contrary to the small parks. Huge space which is family friendly during day (I would not advise to be there after sunset - like in every park unfortunately)when there is no animals off leash and young thugs.”

“This is a great bar in the heart of the Northern Quarter , the pizza is amazing. I've eaten at the Chorlton one on many occasions and always found the pizzas to be excellent. It's no different here. There's plenty of Roman style pizza around which are brilliant, but these are more NY style which are a bit crispier base and nice and thin with loads of toppings. They do 14:and 22" whoppers aswell as buy the slice, one of my favourites is the ham and pineapple, which is not my usual go to pizza. Highly recommended this place loads of deals during the week too.”

Always beautifully prepared, stone fire cooked pizzas and they have a twist on the dough balls to what looks like a square pizza and then you take a closer look and its Nutella and biscoff wrapped in dough and cooked throughout. Absolutely gorgeous. Such lovely staff.”
