“The best barber shop by far. I've been going to the Village Barber for the last 16 years. After visiting 3 other barbers when i first moved here I was so pleased with this one I've not needed to go anywhere else since. Great banter, free coffee and my hair is cut "exactly how i ask" unlike some other barber shops ive been to. My wife and sister are both hairdressers however i still insist on going to the Village Barber which must say something about this shop. A Great shop, A Good laugh and a Great Barber. it was nice to have a barber who has skill when he cuts hair, he cuts a lot with scissors and doesn't just hammer the clippers all of the time !!”

He bought me a voucher for my birthday so I went down and spoke to them to see what treatment was best for me and decided on a Claire Wray ultimate facial and added a couple of add ons lip scrub and builder gel nail treatment. My appointment was yesterday and I was truly amazed what a beautiful relaxing place it is Lauren did my treatments who was very helpful and made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable I could have stayed there so much longer my skin felt amazing and looks so good I will be a customer for life there are so many things they do. We had use of communal spaces, so spent some time chatting over coffee. Clive has has a very interesting life, and his genuine care for people shines through. The property is close to the city. You can easily walk or take a taxi. Clive has a fantastic knowledge of the city, and will recommend places to eat if you need them.”

“My experience living at Globe House has been nothing but pleasant. I love my spacious apartment and the facilities downstairs such as the spa & gym are just a bonus. It takes me 10/15 minutes to walk straight into the city centre which is ideal for me. “My hubs and our 3 children have all had lessons here, including guitar, piano, African drums and ukulele. Each and every one of them enjoyed coming to the shed. Their teachers have always been brilliant and adapted to meet their individual learning needs. One of my children has autism and Dawn went above and beyond to keep him engaged and moving forward with his learning when he was very rigid in what he wanted to do. Dawn and Dave are a credit to our community and I know they will only ever use the best teachers. How do I know this? They are parents themselves and their own children have undertaken lessons at The Shed!”

“Anna is a complete perfectionist, she really takes her time in perfecting the nail shape and base so the nails are flawless because of this. Her selection of colours is the best iv ever seen and most importantly my nails last such a long time in between infills. 1000% recommend!”

“Put my cat in this cattery for a weekend. He's a shy, nervous cat that has diabetes so put him in for a weekend to see how he'd be before going in for 2 weeks later in the year. The owner took good care of him and he settled down enough for his injections to be done without trouble. One nice thing was when I picked him up the owner gave me a sort of diary of his stay, saying how he'd been, which was good and reassuring. I'm very happy to put my cat back in here again, the facilities are good and the owner is very nice and I can tell that she genuinely loves animals and will care for any cat like it's her own.”

“Julie looked after Murphy on his first stay so well! She kept me up to date with how he was and sent pictures of him, plus gave him lots of one to one time and hugs. I’m so pleased he was happy there and given such good care.”

“My two cats just spent a week at the cats whiskers. They hadn't stayed in a cattery before so we were very anxious about it. The staff were really understanding and kind putting us at ease. The cattery is really warm and clean. All the cats in there all look really relaxed and happy. My two have come back happy and healthy, would definitely use again and recommend to anyone who is nervous about putting their cats in a cattery.”
