“Just around the corner, this place stood out ever since we moved in the area! Great coffee, good food with a lot of options for brunch, lunch and dinner. Very good offerings for veggies too. Lovely atmosphere with some dogs always around! Despite lacking on natural light, it’s a warm, welcoming and pleasant place to be!”

“Greeted at the door. Took my son for a post football treat. Not that normal sort of place as is aimed at discerning diners/lunch seekers, we were lad and dad brunch seekers! The lady and gent that served us were really attentive and alert. Lovely with my 8 year old too. Divided things on menu to accommodate us and just made us feel like we could stay there all day it was that relaxed. Food was of a high standard and arrived still warm and fresh from the oven. Scotch bonnet chilli sauce was especially good which we got with our pizza. The sorbets are well above average too. All in all a great place, loved it! We were served by Elle and Isaac. Who enhanced an already good experience.”

“I do not leave reviews very often but I have to for this one. We came for a Christmas Eve meal in a beautiful setting. From the food all the way down to the service, they go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. Food is bursting with flavour and filling. Had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced here, staff are kind, friendly and fantastic with the children. I cannot fault anything with this restaurant at all. Thanks for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back soon!”

“On arrival we got given the menu as we waited for a table. When we got taken to our table the staff were quick at serving us and were very polite and had good knowledge of the local area as we were visiting.”

“If you want your fried chicken or donner fix as a veggie - this is the place to go. I've taken many meat eating friends and they love this too! Great portions, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Go once and you'll keep going back!”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“Came as part of a hen party on a Friday night, the cabaret and music in between were both great. None of our party of 10 had been before but we would all go again. Drinks package was great. Two minor things were, with where we were located it was hard for us all to watch our drinks when other people came around and started using our tables (the two big wooden tables near the stage) one table would have been suitable for us all if they were separated. Also some of the party ordered food and it didn't arrive. Even so we all still had a great night.”

“The burger was so so so so mouthwatering I can't stop talking about it, the fries were absolutely perfect and I've never knew a milkshake could be so heavenly I want to cry after eating this meal, the staff were all on point and looked like they wanted to be there, safe to say my first 5 guys was perfect and I will definitely be coming back!”

“Had an excellent stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly even though I checked in in the middle of the night. Room was large and comfortable. Free parking was available as well as a free electric car charger which was a bonus. Overall would definitely recommend and will return in the future.”

“My sister and I visited here before a show. She had a voucher from work that she wanted to use that allowed us to order from a set menu. The food was great, apart from the aranchini balls (they seemed a bit greasy). The service was also really good. The only bad thing was we were told at the end that we couldn't give a tip on our cards but we didn't have cash since noone (including them) is accepting cash anymore. We felt a bit bad but we were going to a theatre show and wouldn't have had time to go to a cash machine and come back. Definitely would go back here in the future.”

“My first time at Yo Sushi! After ordering on the app, drinks/food is sent on the smart conveyor belt, stopping at your table. Neat! I got about 90% vegan dishes, and they were all delicious (see the pic I’ve uploaded). This is specific, but I absolutely love the nori. There were several things on the 99p Menu offering fantastic value.”

“Vapiano is a Fantastic Choice for Pizza, Pasta & all things Italian. I personally eat Halal and was surprised to see they offered Halal Chicken here... The Food is authentic and mouth watering. I have been going here for 5-6 Years and wouldn't place any other Italian Joint above it. The interior of the Restaurant is very Light, Open & Airy. There are 3 Levels and plenty of Seating. They even have a Good Kids menu, my Son just Loves coming here and getting the Margarita Pizza in the Shape of a Bunny.”

“akasushi_mcr The latest newest sushi spot to open. Just on the outside of China town located in Blue Whale Supermarket Aka Sushi brings fresh quality sushi to MCR. Set in a simple setting, aka sushi dishes really do speak volume. With a small open kitchen and what seems like a huge menu everything is prepared there and then. We ordered: Sushi Set A (16 pieces) consisted of: 3 Salmon Sashimi, 3 Tuna Sashimi, 3 Salmon Nigiri, 3 Tuna Nigiri, 4 Salmon Roll & Seaweed Salad. Salmon Bento Box: Salmon Fillet, rice, chips, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad & baby leaf salad. The box usually comes with chicken too but it's not halal so we were allowed to swap it. Food was served quickly, presented nicely and was really good. Definitely a good sushi spot. Location: Unit 1, St James Tower, 7 Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4DZ Monday to Sunday 12-10pm”

“This was a fantastic pub to visit, having a glorious design persisting on the walls, ceiling and counter! The lights and the silver design at the counter are beautiful too, where a marvellous dark layout is utilized. I sat at a comfortable seat next to artwork frames, enjoying a refreshing drink after quick service and the area was clean!”

“Ordered 2 large hot & spicy and chicken feast for collection on Sunday 19 December. Received very warmth welcome and friendly staff, especially the gentleman who makes the pizza and topping. He is a great personality and wonderful customer service. The pizza on itself were really nice. Never been disappointed with Domono's pizza alway really delicious. Domino's pizza is the best pizza ever.”
