G&Tley Bar 57
“Really nice bar. Drinks were nice and the owners are lovely and made an effort to get to know you and have a chat”
The New Oxford
“Only my second visit which seems daft as this is a cracking pub and a mecca for real ale drinkers. It is only a few minutes walk over the Irwell into Salford. The beer selection did not disappoint. I had a lovely pint of Wigan Brewhouse Soul Train. Really friendly pub on a lovely little square.”
Eagle Inn
“Nice traditional pub. Great for a beer or two. Didn't try the food”
The Bulls Head
“Excellent pub with a genuine friendly welcome and atmosphere. A proper country pub with low beams, flagged floors, real fires and always a great choice of locally brewed real ales. Rightfully very popular. A real gem, well worth a visit.”
The Church Inn
“Lovely traditional pub set in a wonderful location We only had drinks after a walk with the dog on this occasion but the food being served looked very good and we will be back again We bagged a table by the real fire which was very much welcome after a chilly walk with the dog”
Ye Olde Man & Scythe
“Always love going, the first Bar I bring my friends to that are outside of Bolton when visiting for a Fruit of the Forest specifically as the introduction to the bar. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.”
Bargain Booze
“Great shop with a good variety of stock and lovely staff.”
Salut Wines
“Remind me of Loki in Birmingham, very similar idea. Knowledgeable staff with very reasonable price for snacks and wine! Beautiful place to just hang out with friends. Highly recommend!”
Royal Exchange Theatre
“This is one of those buildings that if walls could speak....The Octagon Theatre in the centre of the inside of the building holds 700 people and was designed like it is for the acoustic sounds.”
The Sportsman Inn
“First time visit. Lovely pub with a wonderful welcome and the best steak and ale pie I've ever had, Soo much steak! Will be coming back soon without a doubt!”
The Wycliffe
“We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit to The Wycliffe Hotel, Stockport this weekend. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size. The bed was very comfortable. We ate evening meal at the restaurant Excellent Italian food. A very good choice of dishes. Breakfast also excellent. Good choices. Cooked to order. Deliciously hot. We will definitely stay here again. We can highly recommend this hotel.”
LIVE OASIS - Deansgate
“This studio apartment exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, bright, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby amenities. I highly recommend this apartment.”
The Park Tavern
“Good beer, especially the Moravka and a good place to go for a chat with your chums. It's friendly and convivial and no pretensions.”
Char Steakhouse
“Had a fantastic meal.. I had tempura prawns then fillet steak chips skin on … … the steak was brilliant and the chips were gorgeous.… husband had risotto starter then fillet steak also. The staff were friendly and cannot fault anything. Will definitely go back.”
Hickory's Smokehouse - Wilmslow
“Great restaurant for a family meal! We decided to book a table for the night we arrived at a campsite close by since we knew we wouldn't want to cook after setting everything up. Food was excellent and perfect for sharing - me and my son had the hog Mac and cheese which was delicious , and the frickles were particularly awesome! Everything here seems to be generously sized and the desserts were amazing - definitely need to have frozen custard again!”
Istanbul Grill Culcheth
“Great food, very nice staff. We've had a brilliant good family time ❤️”
Eighteen The Cross
“Had such a wonderful time experience Sunday afternoon. I had the roast Turkey and my husband the roast beef! The food was absolutely stunning, so tasted and meat melted in my mouth ! The atmosphere was vibrant and cosy and the staff were so attentive! Honestly nothing ! Was too much trouble for the well trained, polite and attentive staff! We have travelled a lot lately and have missed this level of service and kindness, they even nipped next door to their cocktail bar to provide special drinks requests! Thank you so much”
Lux Lounge
“The best shisha bar in Manchester hand down! Fantastic people, great atmosphere, good music and good food!! You can’t ask for much more tbh. The staff were so friendly even though it was so busy. Would highly recommend if your after a great night!!”
Diggle Lock
“Great place, I’m so glad we found it this time. Google maps sends you to a road in Shaw. So ensure you type in the actual address when wanting to come here and not click directions from google :) it will save you a 20 mins drive lol Great service, food is top notch, prices are good with a great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. They have gluten free bread. Although not celiac friendly, as the kitchen is not set up for A gluten free station. They did ensure the bread was grilled away from the areas wheat had touched. Kids menu available and also a Dog menu too. The staff were really helpful.”
Peggies Kitchen
“Had a lovely afternoon tea, staff were helpful and friendly, would highly recommend x”
Las Ramblas Wine & Tapas
“Stopped here for lunch on my way to Wales. Firstly, Naomi was an amazing host, very friendly and super helpful. Good variety of Tapas and drinks, some better than others, but all very good. I would highly recommend the olives, and the deep fried Brie, and definately ask to sit in Naomi’s section :) Well worth a visit.”
Absolute Bar & Bistro
“Loved it. food great. service great had a lovely evening here”
The Station Irlam
“This place is a hidden gem that we didnt know about until recently. My little girl is train obsessed and we happened to find this lovely little place. The staff were so nice too and we stopped for cake and hot choc. We will definitely be back. :)”
Nell's New York Pizza & Bar
“Nell’s is tremendous. The design and fit out are a real step up, and the ethos comes through in spades, plus it’s a fun space to spend time in. All the slices we tried were great, crispy base, plenty of olive oil and top class toppings. Draught beers cover all your modish crafty requirements and the rest of the drinks menu is well put together. Staff were super friendly to us. I hope it settles into Kampus and it deserves to be a popular fixture in the city”
Rising Moon
“Everything was amazing. The food was lovely. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I have to say that Adam was lovely. He is a credit to the pub. For such a young lad to chat to us all (and we're different ages) was refreshing. It was great chatting to him. It was such a special evening. If we lived locally (we live in Plymouth) we would certainly frequent the pub more often.”
Grand Pacific
“Me and my step mum came here (for afternoon tea) a while ago as her birthday present and loved it. We both said it was one of or the best afternoon tea we had had. The waiter we had was lovely and attentive. The lighting was calming and as I said, the food was really good.”
El Cuba Libre
“The owners and staff in this place are some of the most welcoming I have encountered, always make a point to pop in when I'm in Hyde for any reason. Excellent real ales on tap at fair prices. 100% worth a visit to this authentic boozer. Viva la revalution”
The Sportsman Hyde
“The sportsman as seating inside and outside. Hard alcohol is sold here. The tapas menu is extensive, but the spicy meat balls and barbecue ribs cannot be beaten anywhere I ve been, abroad or here. The staff are friendly and professional. Parking is not a problem, but it is the car park for morrisons so times maybe a problem. I will keep going back if it's only for the tapas. There are plenty of ales on sale at very competitive prices. And a coal fire welcomes all visitors. Visited this public house many times. Staff friendly. Still a number of ales on sale. I have been here many times, the tapas is still the best around and the portions on most foods are huge. The staff are friendly and helpful, parking is a problem. Entrance is for all people. Prices are hugely competitive on alcohol and food.”
