“I love coming to frankies wine bar. It's a great place for food and drink. They have good music artists on ever so often. The staff a friendly. We had a pram and they let is into the back room to have food which was nice.”

“Looking for a place to enjoy the night with good people then this is the place. Free pool on Wednesday for those who enjoy a good game with a pint. They also have a team who have won a lot of trophies as well as the darts girls so well done for that. They have karaoke all weekend and then karaoke competition on a Monday which is fun but also you get to see Hyde for some of its good talent. Not often a place for trouble and any time there is any then it's dealt with immediately to allow the good people to enjoy their night. Also run by a brilliant landlord and landlady who are friendly to everyone and join in with the fun.”

“Fish pie, cheese and onion pie , beef wellington and prawn linguine were ordered and each meal was delicious. Staff were so friendly and added bonus, it’s dog friendly too. Lovely atmosphere to share with friends.”

“This pub is working hard to get over the pandemic. Great live music and good beer prices. The food has a good reputation at good prices. Sunday lunch was recommended by 3 separate people so we will give it a try. Lots of parking Anwar the bus and tram stops.”

“Popped in whilst travelling past. Amazing food, friendly service and lovely pub. The beef wrap was INCREDIBLE. Beef so full of flavour and literally melt in the mouth. Gravy was epic and chips so good too. Kids loved the nuggets and fries and other family members had the roasts. Apparently the best roasts they have had in 15yrs. Proper home cooked food, roasts AND mash and veg that tasted like proper veg! Again epic gravy! Family live over half an hour away but will defo travel again for another visit. 5 stars and more! Thank you so much!!!”

“An amazing pub, with great service and a really homely vibe. It is slightly on the expensive side, but it serves really decent food and had a nice warm fire to warm you up after a walk in the countryside. We had a couple of plates instead of main meals and this was a perfect amount of food. There’s a small short-stay car park just around the corner, and it’s not far from the train station.”

“What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”

“Went for the first time since the new management and for the quiz night. Had the best time. Good priced drinks and food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. All round excellent time. Will definitely be going back and probably becoming a regular. It's also in a perfect location for if you're planning a night out in town, or drinks after a day's shopping. Can't recommend this pub enough!”
