UNCLE Manchester
● Closed“I lived in Orient house when I am just arrived in Manchester, at first, I chose here because of the excellent position, you can walk to anywhere you want in 5 minutes, including the JD gym, the train station, city center, even my lab office. with the time passes. I get to know all of the staff in this building, Andrew, Rosalie, Irene, Simon, Chen, and Neil, they are very kind people and really helpful when you met difficulties. They let me feel about living home from another country. I am really appreciated what they did and I will choose to stay here until I finished my Ph.D. career.”

Screwfix Manchester - Ancoats
● Closed“Love screwfix always got everything u need. Usually the staff are ok here mostly miserable except for Jason who handled my issue outstandingly. Had a product that failed outside of a month of purchase but swapped it for a new one with no condescending questioning which I had experienced in the past. He even taught me how to use the express app and I'm pretty young and tech savy. Jason is a gem, we need more of them”

Franco Manca Manchester - Piccadilly Gardens
● Closed“What a great place! Boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat before our train back, slightly worried about time and this place was perfect! Pizzas came within a couple minutes of ordering and we're absolutely delicious, wish they were cut but this wasn't a big issue. The vibe from the place was great slightly modern and rustic, staff were so lovely and welcoming it was a great experience. Especially loved the dips you could get on the side as my favourite topping is pesto - you rarely see the option anywhere! Definitely going again when I go to Manchester. To top it off, the sorbets were so refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal 10/10.”

Premier Inn Manchester City (Piccadilly) hotel
● Open“Great place to explore the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Staff are very welcoming on arrival. It's a self service check in system but staff are on hand to assist. Place is very clean throughout with bar and restaurant on site with quite decent prices. Rooms are excellent for the price with shops bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The tram stop is only a 5/10 minute walk if you want to explore surrounding Manchester. There is no parking but there is a car park directly opposite which you pay about £10 per day .”

Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre
● Open“Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable and quiet despite being pretty busy. What I really appreciated was the fact it appears to have enough staff. Ever since the pandemic we've had to deal with places being understaffed and all the negatives that brings. Here, you don't have to sit and be patient as some under-trained, overworked teenager struggles to accomplish basic tasks. There are enough people and they know what they're doing. They are also friendly in doing it. I'd definitely stay here again.”

Zizzi - Manchester Piccadilly
● Closed“My sister and I visited here before a show. She had a voucher from work that she wanted to use that allowed us to order from a set menu. The food was great, apart from the aranchini balls (they seemed a bit greasy). The service was also really good. The only bad thing was we were told at the end that we couldn't give a tip on our cards but we didn't have cash since noone (including them) is accepting cash anymore. We felt a bit bad but we were going to a theatre show and wouldn't have had time to go to a cash machine and come back. Definitely would go back here in the future.”
-

ibis Manchester Centre 96 Portland Street
● Open“Just returned from one night at this hotel. Me and my boyfriend only had 1 problem which was 1 dirty towel. Other than that you can complain for the price. Comfy bed and room appeared clean. Great location and friendly staff. The room was small but I expected that and the bathroom reminded me of a train toilet but bigger but its budget so again I expected that. Had tea and coffee facilities and a little wardrobe area and desk. We parked in the q Park piazza behind the hotel for £22 for 24 hrs with the 25% discount from hotel. I would stay here again :)”

Offered advice regarding local cafes/coffee shops and said to contact reception should I need any further information. Room was clean and ready when I arrived. Efficient use of space with large window by the bed. Exactly what I required for a one night stay in the city.
