I would recommend the shop to anyone, particularly first puppy parents like us. “So it has now been over a year that I have been taking my dog to Barkside twice weekly. And I can report that they remain firmly in my mind as the most fantastic doggy daycare I have EVER come across. Each member of staff is absolutely lovely. And you can tell loves dogs and cares for them as if they were their own. The place is immaculate. And my dog is always daisy fresh and happy when I pick him up at the end of the day. In fact in the winter he often doesn't want to leave as they have heat lamps keeping him lovely and toasty. Lol. I literally couldn't recommend this place more highly.”

“It was the first time our two dogs had been away from us in kennels so we were very apprehensive as to how they would cope, we were away for nearly 3 weeks. They received the best care and both came back very happy and healthy. We phoned a few times when we were away to get updates, which were always positive and informative. When we collected our dogs the staff expressed how much they loved the dogs and had really enjoyed having them. Would definitely recommend.”

“Taken our rescue cat there in January this year for treatment as he had lots of knots which we could not get out by combing , when we collected him later in the day he had no knots and his nails had been clipped, we thought they would have had trouble with him as he was very timid and didn't like to be touched or handled, he came back smelling lovely and looked brilliant (apart from a few bald patches)where they cut out the heavy matted fur, top marks for Pretty Paws , well recommended . will be taking him back in May, lovely caring staff.”
