“We called in last Sunday evening, 13th Sept. No food available (fair enough it was quite late) so the man behind the bar suggested that we go to the excellent Indian over the road to order a take-away. He said they would deliver it to the H and H. That worked well, and the same kind man even brought us plates and cutlery to where we sat outside on that warm evening. We had some drinks and thanked him for his great kindness. It was well beyond what we would have expected from him, unfortunately didn't get his name, and we were sorry not to return there as we were leaving the following morning. What great service! We can be quite particular about how our steaks are cooked and they were very accommodating with us. The creamy mushroom starter I had is to die for, I'm sure the garlic bread is home baked it was that good and the steaks were absolutely delicious. Definitely be going back!”

“The pizza was amazing. My nephew didn’t like the pear though. I failed as an uncle to give him one of his five a day. He liked the brick wall interior. The kids got a future in industrial interior design. He said he was so full from the pizza that he could not eat anymore.... the desert menu arrived and miraculously he found room for ice cream. Mint Choc chip! As an uncle I got 5 stars from him but 2 from my sister. Bad uncle for feeding him Pizza on a Monday night!”

Had a roast dinner takeaway yesterday and it was just as good as our dining in experience our go to roast place now and hopefully Xmas day ! Been tonight for there American themed menu, I had the burger girlfriend had Ribs and we shared BBQ wings, buffalo wings and mozzarella fries , every thing was superb. We really love this place the staff are amazing and welcome your custom. The chefs are brilliant. You must try this place the roasts are better than when the parlour used to do them. Still the best roast dinner around just been again today ! Superb ingredients and cooked to perfection, I always have a cauliflower extra is it's sublime.”

“The Ruposhi is our favourite Indian restaurant in Bury. The food and drinks are good I am booked taking 17 in a few weeks for our family Christmas gathering. Last I booked and took nearly 30 and the Ruposhi seated us all together with no worries .”

“Great location by an airfield. We did Ring Of Red around Manchester and called in here for a very welcome cuppa. Incredibly busy with lots of red clad bikers, like we do when we impersonate a giant poppy, ha. Long queue, but on the ball staff who served efficiently. Tea was good and not UHT either, whuuup, whuuuppp. Loads of seating inside and out with great views of a very active airfield. First time here, I'll be back.”

“We have visited The Hare and Hounds twice in the past week. Once on Sunday for lunch and on Tuesday night for quiz night. Both times we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good. Staff were friendly and there was a nice buzz about the place. The only slight downside is the toilet that is cold and needs decorating. Our dog Milo loved it too.”
