After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. The pictured jerk chicken dish really was divine and as you can see also nicely presented. I liked the chef's dedication and enthusiasm. It's worth going to try some dishes that are a bit different, even if you're not big on beer. On that topic, I haven't the heart to deduct a star for it, but it is a shame that no alcohol-free beer is on offer, and secondly, I once ordered a home-brewed 'Hefeweizen' which is a German-style wheat beer cloudy with yeast in it, and it was served lukewarm. Being firstly German and secondly a refreshing summer drink this type of beer absolutely needs to be consumed properly chilled!”

“We stayed in the shepherds hut was a comfortable couple of nights. Had a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo , washing up liquid which surprised us . A pint of milk in fridge was a lovely welcome . Lots of books to read, we took a radio too . Very impressed with the hut and we will be back”
