Mahbub Indian Takeaway
● Closed524 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9AW, United Kingdom“I have been using the Mahbub since they opened 25 years ago. The food has been consistently authentic and delicious… I have never had a bad experience in all of this time which is definitely some testament. Always great customer service from Amir and his team, they have a really comprehensive menu but nothing is too much trouble if you ask for something different and not only do they cater for this but they care enough to remember for next time.”

Wah Ji Wah
● Closed“We had our celebratory wedding meal here last summer and could not thank Manish and the team enough for there fantastic hospitality and flexibility. They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. Thank you Manish and your team for helping to make our wedding day so special.”

Khau Galli
● Closed“My husband and I were looking for somewhere a little bit special for our last date night before our first baby arrives in the next few weeks, and I found Khau Galli online. We booked a VIP Pod, and had such a wonderful evening! The food was incredible, the staff and service were brilliant, and the whole unique dining experience in the pod was fantastic. There was even an Alexa in each pod so you can have whatever music playing that you like, which was a lovely bonus touch. We’ll definitely be going back again in the future, and I highly recommend it to anyone!”

Spice Tower Indian Restaurant
● Closed“Ordered a home delivery from them a few weeks ago, which arrived on time and still nice and hot and was delicious. Ate in last night and the place was spotlessly clean, nice decor, tables are well spaced etc. The warm welcome from the staff was really nice and the service was very good; attentive, but not pushy, Josh answered any questions we had about the menu, the food was delivered promptly and there was plenty of it. It felt as though the staff took pride in what they did and Josh in particular was brilliant. Will be going again very soon.”

Woondaal Indian Takeaway
● Closed“Ordered and collected from Woondaal for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. Bought a Woondaal Special Kebab Box, Keema on chips and some onion bhajis. Donner meat was cooked in a lovely sweet sauce with stir fried peppers and onions, chicken and lamb tikka was pleasantly moist and flavoured well and naan benefitted from the meat juices. Overall a massive portion but great quality too! Keema mince was very spicy but awesome. Definitely our new go to place! 9/10”

Taj Balti Glossop
● Closed“Our beloved local curry takeaway. Everyone has an opinion on local takeaways, often varied but I can say factually that we have used Taj Balti for about 7 years and have been consistently happy with the quality, generosity of portions, friendly and helpful service, thoughtful touches. My partner is a fussy eater who will stick to what he likes and he rates their vegetable samber as among the best, also their raita, naan, lamb hoppers and chicken pakoras are particularly good. Plenty of interesting dishes to try from chef's special menu if you are a bit more adventurous than my partner. Better value than the other Indian / Bangladeshi takeaways in Glossop without compromising quality.”

The Curry House Bolton
● Closed“Ordered 2x from here now had a normal kebab and 2x special kebab and a lamb tikka starter. This was the first takeaway I ordered from in Bolton and I’ll be honest I was absolutely blown away, first we started on the special kebab and oh my was it mind blowingly good morning only wish we started on the normal kebab because as incredible as it was it was blown out of the water by the special but equally satisfying. Missed out on the chips on the first order but the second ordered a regular chips and was presented with a buffet of chips larger than TCBS although on my own and couldn’t make a dent was pleasantly surprised and better than most of the takeaways you’ll find around. 1000% will order again and can’t wait to try other options in the future! Keep up the good cooking lads! Late delivery on first order but completely worth it and 30 minutes early on the second so can’t complain was hot and all the flavour!”

Jalebi by Sanam
● Open“In the morning I was craving for Chana Poori and decided to try this new place called Sam's Jalebi. I have tried their Jalebi in the past which is so delicious. This time I ordered a portion of Chana Poori. The portion includes 3 poori, Chana curry with potatoes and a sweet halwa. Everything was very tasty. It wasn't heavy at all as the poori was very thin & fluffy. They also gave some picked onion and mint sauce. I also tried their Desi Tea/Chai which nice too. I tried Jalebi again which always very thin, crisp and delicious. This place has a seating capacity of approximately 30-40 people They make fresh Jalebi everytime they get order. If you are reading this review and you like Asian dishes then you should definitely try this place. Sharing few pics”
