Mouth watering food in Manchester

“Dog friendly pub. Stopped in for a coffee and toasted sandwich and we were very pleasantly surprised. Large garden with a couple of covered pods. Not that we needed them as it's a lovely sunny day and the garden is a real sun trap. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Toasted ham and cheese sandwich came with lots of salad and a pot of home made coleslaw. We will definitely return.”

“New Bar/Restaurant opened in Bramhall/Woodford. We was welcomed upon arriving and was quickly shown to our table. Excellent service upon arrival. The waitress came to the table with the menu's and information us with specials of the day. We ordered drinks (2 Coffees and a Large Coke) the Coffees was made perfect, probably the best I've had in a Pub/Restaurant. We ordered from the set 3 course menu £16.95. We chose... Starter: 1 soup of the day and 2 black pudding fritters. All perfect, hot and perfect size. Mains: 1 Fish Cake and 2 6oz steaks and Chips. Steaks should have been mid rare. Unfortunately we had to send the first 2 steaks back as they was well under cooked in fact you could say they was still mooing. The staff handed it in a professional manner and brought back two perfectly cooked steaks. EXCELLENT SERVICE. Pudding: This was perfect. Two Stickey Chocolate Puddings. Delicious. Overall we had a great experience, I can't fault any point of the Experience. The staff and service was excellent and made the afternoon every enjoyable, THANK YOU. We will definitely be going back in the very near future. A small add on: Toilets are up stairs, perfectly clean. Disabled toilets are on the ground floor.”

“A favourite of ours since moving to Manchester. Friendly staff, chilled vibe and great selection of beers in an authentic, vintage environment. It's a hidden gem, down some stairs in a basement and stands out from the usual garish, chain or flashy cocktail bars of Spinningfields.”

“Brilliant experience. Staff are abit slow we waited and waited for a steak knife had to ask for it again and after the meal they asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu but never came back to take out order so we paid and left, but apart from that it was great.”

After a really disappointing outing at the pretentious Ewe recently we went back to an old haunt for one of the kids birthdays and weren’t disappointed. “Nice place. Came here many years ago when it 1st opened using a Groupon. Had a few cocktails this time which were nice. Food prices on the high side but what I observed served looked very nice and plentiful. Cocktails on a certain deal are two for £12.00 Others a tenner each. Will be back when I'm hungry !”

“We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”

I 'm a local to Knutsford and everyone at the wake have visited the cafe over the years so made the morning Wake very special to the Owner and to Friends and Family 10;30am - 11:45 am Food was freshly prepared drinks made to order. Young staff very attentive to the Guests . “Stopped for lunch on a cold, rainy day and had excellent tapas meal. Greeted with warm hospitality. Pub has parking, clean toilets, warm fire, friendly dog and attentive service. Would definitely recommend it.”
