“We booked a reservation for the Sunday lunch and needless to say the food was amazing, tasty and seasonal veg crunchy. Stayed overnight in one of the corner rooms, which was nice and clean. Staff couldn't do enough for us and were very friendly, cocktails were excellent. Thank you.”

“It was a last minute booking for my mother who has several disabilities and they have been truly amazing to her, I have to especially thank Fred for being so hospitable - the staff really do go above and beyond to respectfully ensure that you have a relaxing stay, I would definitely recommend this place. We take of our hats to a great young waitress “Alysson” who was really on the ball, eyes everywhere, ready to pre-empt the needs of her diners! We were very impressed. Pity the managers present didn’t show the same attention to their guests & were noticeably absent for most of the evening until a special guest arrived & they both showed keeness to impress. Sad that they might have been trying to impress the wrong guest!! The duck was lovely, the plaice was minimalistic at best and though tasty failed to satisfy. It was good to visit a restaurant experienced in the handling & drinking of champagne. Their prices were not extortionate & it was good to be served the bubbles into champagne flutes. Note to management: champagne pours better into chilled glasses...ours were hot-to-touch!!”
