“A superb restaurant. We visited twice in a space of a month after getting a take away from them while at friends of ours. On the first visit, there was a very noisy table of 10 people and the waiter offered to move us downstairs, which was perfect. The food was good from the takeout but in the restaurant it was fabulous. Last night was our second visit and thankfully, although the restaurant was full, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was excellent and if I could ask for anything to be changed at all, is to ask for our food to come soon after the popodums and dips. It seems the popularity of the restaurant making it particularly busy on Saturday night on the takeout side, so while orders go out to be collected we had to wait for our food a little more than we'd want to. Again, this would never stop us from going again as it is simply one of the best Indian meals we had for a long time!”

The team catered for over 360 people on the night and we are pleased to say that the feedback from our members was extremely complimentary. The food, many choices for both veg and non veg dishes and the buffet stations were professionally manned at all times. Minor issues prior to the event were professionally handled by Bhavesh. “Had taken a few years sabatical from the Shethu but decided to retry last night. Have to say it was delicious. The sauces here have alway been fantastic and last night didn't disappoint. We had popadoms, onion bhaji, chicken tikka korma, lamb rogan josh, lamb dansak and tandoori chicken with rice and chapati. Price was excellent too. I'll be back very soon. Well done guys.”

“Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. Been here for a sit down meal on several occasions. This evening, I had my first take-away and the quality is as consistent as dining in the restaurant. Menu has lots of good options so there is something for everyone. They even offer a 20% discount on all takeaway orders when you collect them in person and I cannot believe the value for money for all of the food I ordered. The food was ready when I arrived 20 minutes after ordering, as promised and the person serving me was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, excellent food and great service. Will definitely come here again.”

“I've been to this pub a fair bit but never sampled the roast until last Sunday. We ordered lamb and a vegan roast, and both were the best we have had in our lives. I cannot begin to even describe how tasty this food was. My girlfriend said it was THE best vegan food she's ever had in a restaurant. The staff are also so welcoming and friendly. “Lived in the area for over a year and finally visited the restaurant on Friday evening. It was fantastic. We got the 3 course deal which I think was around £22 ( £18 for 2 course). Fantastic food and the service was brilliant. Very warm and attentive staff and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice high ceilings. Lobster bisque ravioli was 10/10 and the pavlova for dessert was the best I've ever had. We walked out with high praise and can't wait to return.”
