“I cannot praise this place enough I attended recently & was amazed at the fast service I received. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and I felt went out of their way to help. I missed calls from the doctor as I was driving home on the motorway so was unable to answer my phone. I rang the walk in centre back & explained and they contacted the doctor again on my behalf. This was about 5 mins before they were due to close & still I didn’t feel like a burden to them. This is the best NHS service I’ve received. I won’t hesitate to make this my first stop next time I need medical help. 5***** service & 5***** staff.”

“Back from a presentation today and both my husband and myself were very impressed with the whole set up. The sales people Kart and Jamie at the Manchester office were very welcoming and professional. They explained the product very well and there was no hard sales pitch. On the contrary they explained everything in detail and how the finances worked comparing it to our current spending. The cost for a very high end plush product was very appealing with regards to the price allowing world travel to 5 star resorts at an affordable price. Sadly our travel plans at this time are very different to what is being offered so we had to decline. However, we both feel we will revist the CLC World option in the future. We thought it was all a very good marketing set up and emphasise that there was no hard sale. We were rewarded with £50 M&S vouchers and a weeks free accommodation for our time. We look forward to seeing what is on offer at one of their resorts over the next 12 months”

“All GP practices are strained at the moment, and access to appointments and services has been a little slower and more difficult than anyone would like - however, I truly think that the team at City Health are a group of really lovely people who care about what they do. I have only accessed the centre via phone/online, as I haven’t requested any in-person appointments as of yet, so I can’t comment on the quality of in-centre service. However, I have had very positive experiences when using online and phone consults, and when requesting repeat prescriptions. Mike, the mental health nurse here, is an absolute credit to the team. He is incredibly personable, funny (when appropriate!), and has really taken time to listen to me discuss my symptoms and experience as a self-diagnosed autistic person. After my last practice messed up my formal autism diagnosis referral, Mike called me and took the time to explain the process and timeline for me, ensuring I understood exactly what the process would entail and assuring me City Health would pass on my referral to the appropriate service after my last GP practice messed it up. Lo and behold, just a couple of weeks later I received my letter in the post confirming my referral to our local autism service. Mike has also regularly checked in with me about my medication and how I’m doing in general. I have truly never felt more valued and listened to by a health professional as I have by Mike. Even in this really difficult time for healthcare professionals and nurses in particular, he is clear, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and will give you all the time in the world. He has been a massive help in my journey of realising in adulthood that I am likely autistic; without his knowledge and friendliness, I don’t think I would have been able to continue to pursue formal diagnosis due to negative experiences with other practices in the past. If you have any mental health concerns or want to request any referrals for neurological or psychological diagnostic services, I can highly recommend City Health. Let’s hope that the government begins to see the value in teams like this one and begins to give them the resources they need.”

“Have to say, we would be lost without petpals looking after our cats when we go away, far cheaper than putting the cats in a cattery and we know they are all safe,fed , kept warm and are well when we are not there- one of the best advantages of the service is you also know your house is in safe hands closing the curtains and turning on the lights at night. They know all our cats names and behaviours and introduce themselves before they start to look them/ when we come home from holidays a diary of all their behaviour , what they eat , drank and any issues (not one so far). We have used petpals for a few years now and will continue to do so. The previous comment with one star is completely off topic!”
